Not sure I agree with this, Southampton apparently make £770k per game
Matchday income is different to ticket income.

So, it wasn’t just one coach which had £40,000 worth of damage? Any figures for the retrospective fines? Do clubs get those for any uncontrolled fan behaviour and damage at the MKM.
If anything he tried to play down the story.
When it comes to the Hull Daily Mail and its journalists or journalists anywhere I find it hard to 100 % believe them as I have been victim to them making up a pure fabrication of a situation I was involved in. My mother was also interviewed the night the MKM was opened. They quoted her name then put completely different quotes from her interview. It’s what journalists do. Exaggerate.
And Syd would know from the other side of the world.
Someone brought their own refreshments, and spoke above 60 decibels.what happened
If our fans damage an away end then we pay for it, same if theirs damage our ground - it's not a difficult concept to grasp.

Surely ticket revenue is a big part of it though? Everyone likes to use the trope that ticket sales have no effect on budget but that doesn’t make sense to me. Why do you think Acun is trying so hard to increase the number of people coming to the stadium?Matchday income is different to ticket income.
And if he believed everything that was said.
