Hold up. Is there some kind of unfortunate glare on the camera or that a deliberate hairstyle choice?

Not for me to agree with Castro but Acun’s generosity must have limits, especially with FFP. Can’t expect him to keep signing big players for big fees on big wages without a steady revenue stream. I’m fine with my membership going from £35 to £40 a month because it’s still brilliant value for money and the discounted tickets have certainly helped with attendances and improving the general mood, but it’s not a sustainable long-term plan. The club offered free travel last season but phased it out this year.

Isn't the steady revenue stream the biscuits sponsorship? That is magnitudes greater than any sort of ticket revenue increase.

That's an amazing stat. It really isn't said enough what an incredible job Acun and City have done of getting the crowds back to this extent. No one dared to think it'd get to these levels. Some people scoffed that our support was fickle and just used the Allams as a convenient excuse to stop attending. That myth has been emphatically debunked.
Our support is fickle on a cyclical basis. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.

Pure speculation, some think because Mcvites is a multi billion business that we are now loaded, truth is nobody knows. I guess the FA wouldn't allow paying more than a realistic amount for sponsorship anyway.

Not speculation at all. Sponsorships, whether it's Corendon or McVities or whatever it would be is a much bigger revenue stream than any small incremental change in ticket prices.

I covered that in the other thread, increasing ticket price has little effect on overall income. Of course sponsorship is a bigger part, my point was we don't know how big Mcvites is and the FA won't allow it to be more than a realistic amount.

Just how much are Mcvites putting in?

Ok, it seemed like you were disagreeing with me when really you're agreeing with me.

I think people are being a little bit harsh on Jacob. He certainly had some weak moments, but he also showed his immense commitment on multiple occasions, made some big tackles and blocks, and as someone else mentioned he's very aggressive going forward too. Similar with Jones, he did some things very well, last ditch defending and stuff but he did make a few dodgy passes.
Didn’t Jacob also put it through someone’s legs to skin him and get a cross in too?
I like him. He’s a grafter who’s not scared to put his body…or head! on the line.
Keep him here and he’ll improve

I actually thought the club might have said 'who wants to go to Plymouth...' free coaches,...

Thought kids were doing lines and being belligerent. Baz said something along those lines when it was raised a few weeks back.

dunno about Australia, but cocaine use is rampant here
