When was the last time we had genuine excitement for a managerial appointment? For me it (laughably) David Moyes - always admired his work and felt like he was the man to take us to the next level.....which I suppose he did...just a shame the next level was the one below :emoticon-0140-rofl:
O’Neill for me, after that one didn’t turn out as good as I thought I stopped getting genuine excitement for manager appointments.

Dodds strikes me as someone who tries to say the things he thinks he should. He doesn’t have any conviction so I’m not surprised that he can’t get the players motivated.
Of the other names I know only what I’ve read on here. Maric coaches an u19 team. Sounds like a gamble. Still has a question mark about his attitude. Sounds like a gamble.
Whoever we get it’s just as important to bring in 3/4 good quality experienced players.
As has been said, a massive couple of months coming up.

What are the question marks over Still's attitude?

There's a suggestion that there has been some manoeuvring on his side to use our interest to get a better deal at Reims
Oh right. Wouldn't worry me too much, personally. Would hope whoever we appoint genuinely wants to come though, and isn't solely motivated by money.

Saw Moyes as the type of manager we needed when he was at Everton. When we finally got him despite the Man Utd "blip" (I thought it was a blip anyway). I was convinced he would do a good job and really cement us as a team that didn't look over their shoulder at relegation and sat comfortably mid table with a decent cup run here and there!

****ing hell how wrong could I be? The **** downed tools before he had remembered his password to login to the work computer ffs! How he got away unscathed without any **** sticking to him I don't know, some of them signings he made should have caught tbe attention of the media and made it clear it was a man barely going through the motions and then he topped it off by declaring a relegation battle about 3 matches in!

To top it all off he has done a good job at the bubble lovers! So shows up even more that he thought he was above trying at SAFC.
