Rubberface is teasing it’s him now too so guess it has legs, unless that’s his twitter account too? Haha

similar profile to a Rohl/Mckenna prior to their Wednesday and Ipswich moves

Would be a big call that. Never managed at mens senior level before and just into his 30's. That said, IIRC he was very close to getting it but they went for Beale instead.

Would prefer Still, least he has got experience of managing first team duties.

Yeah I’d edge towards still if it was a straight shootout between the 2 know absolute nout about Maric, the fact both him and still are younger than me makes me sick too :emoticon-0102-bigsm

His CV reads very similar to Rohl's. Both worked in the Red Bull set up, both coaches at Bayern, both been an assistant in the Premier League.

Just in case you haven't read it, there was a Sky Sports piece on him last summer:

Canny read that, there’s a few interviews with him on YouTube too I’m going to give them a listen on the treadmill today and see what I think of him, managed to convince myself Beale would be alright eventually like so I’m sure I’ll be sucked in by him too haha

That was the point I was trying to make, they need to keep doing it, but not just that.
The balance has to be right recruit for now and the future, last season there didn't seem much for the now part
I have posted a fair bit on this subject as we needed to rebuild our foundations and that has taken time and TBH the first team squad has had to be young as we have needed to build that way to ensure that we did not have a team of half hearted journeymen.
I think we are in a position now to spread our wings a little wider but I only hope we get the right characters in who will support the burgeoning talent I think we have bubbling just below the surface.

Aye, I'll be listening to the Training Guru ones today as well. Rubberface said he's had it confirmed, so not even hinting it.

He sounds like a proper tactical nerd and I'm here for it.
