The cup final mate. Last season. You do recall they beat us right?

That was last season, that game was over a year ago. They also beat us 20 years ago.

You were talking about ETH being crucified by the press, then said but they beat us....he wasn't crucified in any way last season, it's because of this season.

He’s getting crucified and yet he’s going better than Howe.

That’s not really difficult to understand

Either way he's ahead of us and in a Cup Final. The point for me is we can't edge ahead of a very poor Man U and have lost 10 times on the road. I understand away fixtures are tough, but losing 10 (and counting) is very, very poor.

The fact that expectations at Man U are significantly higher, they have spent far more, had far less injuries and made a succession of disaster signings, is also not difficult to understand.

Today suggests otherwise.

Play him in his best position.

Yeah it's pretty straightforward when players are on fire in a certain position.... like I said earlier Howe didn't get that right.

The set up didn't work unfortunately and neither did his changes when they eventually came.

On to the next one.

Nope. That’s bullshit. They have fallen below us. Last season proves that. And we if we have ambition should be going above.

Your defending something you don’t even agree with.

It's consistently a problem with team selections, like falling back into bad habits.

I have no faith the club will make a change until we are 15th after 13 games or something. Like, playing extremely ****.

Personally, I'm ready for a new boss. Been consistent with that

Think I'm still in a minority, most only get annoyed when we lose.

What happens when this new boss loses a game

Why these constant comparisons to Man U? The fact everyone's whining we're not above them is more indicative of how much they have fallen, not how bad we are. Considering the season, 7th would be a decent finish for us, which shows us building and consolidating. Man U's situation now shows how far they've fallen from regularly expecting to win the league.

**** happens, you support through thick and thin and always run the risk of travelling to see a defeat/**** game.

Liverpool fans just paid a ****load to see their team through away the title against their dogshit rivals.
Least he only had to go round the corner. Poor ****ers going from Newcastle to London on a Wednesday night to watch that steam of ****. I mean if it ended say 3-2. Fair enough, but 2 shots on target in the last 10 mins, not good enough.

Barnes was dreadful Tonight ... I'm beginning to think Roland was right about him... 45 million looks way too high... a guy that can shoot but nothing else.
I agree with this aswell. That’s my concern that he is a one trick pony.

It was as if he wasn’t on the pitch tonight. He didn’t do anything of any note. And I’m happy to be put right here.

Tonight’s performance is a huge concern.
