Worst performance of the season that I've seem tbh - drab, seemed like very little effort and energy despite a 10 day break and completely wrong tactics - yes it worked vs Spurs but completely different kettle of fish against Palace and it was obvious in the first 15 mins. Think Palace had 75% possession in the first 30 mins and it was all one way traffic.

I'm sorry but a top league manager should be spotting that and changing it up ASAP not waiting for the 60 min mark. Even if you want to stay at 3 at the back, it was clear the middle of the park was where we were losing out and needed to get another body in there so go 3-5-2/5-3-2 with Barnes marking the young lad who was holding, Longstaff vs Hughes (who had a very good game btw - better than any I've seen since his Watford days) and Bruno on the spare man in front of the back 3 with Gordon and Isak running the channels vs their CB's. Their first goal was good football from them but awful defending from us - not sure why Burn is jumping in there as Schar is already in vs Mateta - simple 1-2 around the corner because Burn's got over excited and they get an easy goal! Was literally school boy stuff.

Also one final moan - not sure why Howe is trying to play Anderson as a LWB but that isn't going to work, goes against all of his positive traits and will not benefit him going forward - let him work on his attacking play.

Hopefully that is the kick up the arse they needed to pull their finger out for the last 5 games now as that was a cluster **** of a game. Fair play to Palace and Glasner though - he's got them playing FOOTBALL now and they look really good, only lost 3 games since he came in....
