Sticking with 6th but could 5th be on?

Spurs - Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Burnley, City, Sheffield
NUFC - Palace, Sheffield, Burnley, Brighton, Man U, Brentford
ManU - Sheffield, Burnley, Palace, Arsenal, NUFC, Brighton
Chels - Arsenal, Villa, Spurs, West Ham, Forest, Brighton, Bournemouth

10 points off spurs currently but they have some really difficult games there!

Lose to Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool and beat Burnley (all reasonable assumptions) and we beat Palace, Sheffield, Burnley and Brighton and we are a point behind them going in to the Man u game while they have City with a superior goal difference. Shake hands with ManU for a point and then go to Brentford needing to just match their result if they lose to City as well....
It's not inconceivable that we could take near maximum points from that run of fixtures... Last season I'd have felt more confident about it... We're (seemingly) coming into a bit of form and (hopefully) have stopped leaking stupid goals, so who knows. Would be some effort if we did it.

Realistically though, just finishing above those absolute ****es from the NW would be a great result for this season, all thins considered.

You never know... Eddie and the lads might just surprise you and go undefeated.

It's more likely we pick up a couple of injuries to key players and stumble across the line TBH, but precisely as I said, it's not inconceivable that we can beat every single one of those sides. Doing it in consecutive fixtures will clearly be unlikely.

It's a longshot for sure but think I've mentioned it before - Howe's finishes to seasons while he's been here have been phenomenal!

12 points should be enough for Europe of some sort
13-14 good for 6th place and Europa League
15-18 possible 5th!

Think someone said we're definitely losing on Wednesday so that's 3 down!

If we want 6th, we're going to have to go up to old trafford and get at least a draw, simple as. That will likely be a decider.

Manure could do us a favour and relegate sheffield, so they'll be mathematically doomed before they play us so they'll have nothing to play for.

Burnley away will be harder.
