Only issue is Manure have 4 home games to our 2. And they play us at home. Chelsea will probably **** up some games also. Palace (draw), Sheffield (win), Burnley (win) , Brighton (win) , Man U (draw/lose), Brentford (win) We can get 4 wins from this.
I'd expect a win vs palace - don't be fooled by there lucky win vs livarpool the other day - their previous win came at the beginning of Feb vs Burnley, played and have been battered by Chelsea, Brighton, Spurs, City and Bournemouth since, with draws against Everton, Luton, Forrest in that time. But 12 points should be enough, if we don't lost to Man U.
Palace aren't conceding much though. I know they conceded 4 vs city, but apart from that they look defensively decent. We are great at dealing with teams that come out and attack us but we struggle to unlock defensive teams sometimes. Just look at Everton. Smashed 6-0 at Chelsea, but we could only manage 1 goal. The reason? Because West Ham, Spurs and Fulham attacked us more. Same with Villa. Everton sat back and parked the bus. Last season - Palace - 3x 0-0 draws. Not a single goal against them in 3 attempts Bournemouth 1-1, we needed a pen for a draw. 2 home games in 2 seasons and we're scraping draws against them. Leeds - 0-0 Scrape a nervy 1-0 against Everton with an Almiron screamer. We need to get better at breaking down defensive sides.
Fair and well put points! Just think we have goals in us and Palace have used all their defensive luck for the season in that games vs Liverpool - honestly they couldn't have complained if it was 4/5/6-1 last week but there were some literally ridiculously outstanding blocks, misses and saves!
Saw it at start of season, instantly seen it for what it was........A Chaos data grab, to be used against you on a forum thread coming soon, thought Nah, I'll pass
Correct and it should be noted the original thread was a detailed explanation as to why Newcastle would still finish top 4. Tash went in to great detail.
Sticking with 6th but could 5th be on? Spurs - Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Burnley, City, Sheffield NUFC - Palace, Sheffield, Burnley, Brighton, Man U, Brentford ManU - Sheffield, Burnley, Palace, Arsenal, NUFC, Brighton Chels - Arsenal, Villa, Spurs, West Ham, Forest, Brighton, Bournemouth 10 points off spurs currently but they have some really difficult games there! Lose to Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool and beat Burnley (all reasonable assumptions) and we beat Palace, Sheffield, Burnley and Brighton and we are a point behind them going in to the Man u game while they have City with a superior goal difference. Shake hands with ManU for a point and then go to Brentford needing to just match their result if they lose to City as well....
