I’ll always give a manager a chance, as will the majority of fans.

Beale brought it on himself with the ****e tactics, team selections and crap interviews. Ignoring the vocal minority with their personal attacks he had more than enough time to show he had any clue. Anyway let’s not go there again :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Not saying hes a bad choice, he my turn out to be good. But not sure where this best up and coming coaches in the world is coming from, if he was that a lot of clubs would be linked with him.

I know where it is, my sister lives there.
I spoke to him as he goes to games on behalf of a British soccer mag.
    No more no less.

Thats not how it works, for the big clubs to want him he will have to prove himself in England first

That's not how it works, how many of the top clubs managers had proved themselves in England first. ( Pep, Klopp,Arteta, Ten Hag)

That Still video excites and scares me simultaneously. He clearly understands he's forming a bit of a cult of personality and he's willing to build on it to develop his profile, he's comfortable with his philosophy and his person being interrogated to further his aims which I think is great.

I do worry it turns into another "I wish he would stop talking" like the Speakman complaint that's going around.

You have picked managers who managed the top clubs in Europe :) So its the same, experience at a top club, but you just carry on

I just think he will clash with speakman and want to have a bit too much control TBH.

If he comes I suspect Speakman has been told that "The Model" has been tweaked

Don't really see how he doesn't fit 'the model'. He seems to me to be exactly what KLD and Speakman have always wanted.

For me it just needs tweaking no matter who comes in, the balance with inexperienced / experienced players is completely off.

A new manager will hopefully be a big improvement but I don’t think we will make the step up in league position, or league, if we remain so rigid.

I think I would be happy with Still as I believe he has probably done some hard yards to get to where he is now, and as such may well appreciate the position more than some.
That said like every signing or appointment it would be a risk and if he is to be our new head coach then I hope he can bring a new positive and proactive outlook to the whole of the club.

I agree to an extent but I'm not sure how much of this perceived rigidity is real and how much of it is people making assumptions. But that's old ground that's been covered dozens of times before.

There have been reports that Reims might be looking at people to replace him. Read into that what you will (still).

    Funny buggers aren't we.

I quite like them speaking. If I don't want to listen, I don't have to. Can't understand the complaint that people communicate to be honest.

I very rarely listen to what they have to say because most of the stuff that would actually be interesting can't be said to the public. When I do listen, I'd rather they said something that worth listening to than "we put in 110% but it was a game of two halves and the lad done well, he's got a left foot like a block of gold"
