Jesus!!!!... listening to the whole of the podcast above.. Since Acun took over 16 home wins in 55!!!!!@@!@!@ Burndy mentioned at about 14:00 that he spoke to someone connected with a player and he said there is pressure to perform at home... its 22k people WTF would they do in front of 60k at on of the Premier big guns... where is the sports neuro scientist!!!!!
Giles looked like he was carrying a knock to me? Hope you had a good night despite the result? (you were back after a while weren't you?...which obviously makes their second goal your fault)
It doesn't surprise me at all. I've found it strange for a while now that there's no real talk of how our home form has been poor over such a long period. I remember under Grant we used to lose at home all the time. Since then we've not lost as many at home but won way too few. It's hard to put your finger on the reason because we had a totally different team and style of play under Grant and under Shota, but the form has continued.
How can playing in front of 22k ( who apparently make no noise) be intimidating. Just an excuse for poor performances.
They were saying ion the podcast, that if we had had crowds (Covid) when we bounced back from League 1 we likely wouldn't!!! pressure, what pressure.. Sorry St didn't see your comment.. Facts keep coming on this podcast... 3 clean sheets in 21!!
I wonder if TLT will take the #2 berth next season or if we’ll look to sign a more experienced #2 or #1 and Pandur will be understudy.
Yer, I didn’t realise Giles was carrying a knock when I wrote that, nor that Jacob had crocked himself in the warm up. It was an enjoyable game which offsets the result a little. I’m like a Corporation bus though; no live game for a while then 2 come along at once. I’m back for QPR.
if we'd beaten the ****e brum and stoke everyone would be saying yesterday was a great point even though we could have won it what a game though, i honestly prefer watching the championship over the prem
I think if Pandur was going to be the starter next season, he'd be the starter now. He's been in and around the squad long enough to be settled. I don't see what the point is in making him wait. Everything points to Allsop sticking around for the foreseeable, Rosie was ruthless with Ingram (he doesn't even get on the bench now). If he wanted to, he'd do the same with Allsop. Our goalkeeping stats are the worst in the league, and given how much the staff drone on about them, they'll know it, and they've done nowt about it. Baffling really.
Yes, it could be a possibility, it's just whether Liam bites the bullet with Allsop and accepts that maybe he is not the goal keeping answer.
I think maybe he is a bit too far out from his post, but it's mainly his open legs, which is an inviting target, which is where he was done through his legs.
