today showed for me
our overall lack of quality in the overall squad
the bench so weak

boro are a really good team, you take a point against these

we created some great chances, i think ultimately we are abit too niave and inexperienced to finish 6th

Totally agree.

Giles was touted as a really good attacking left-back who can be a bit suspect with the defensive parts. We've pretty much asked him to defend in often really isolated situations and not utilised the strong points of his game at all really.

today was a must win game for both
and it was a really enjoyable game to watch

let's be honest, we did'nt lose the play offs today really

a fit delap today though.. would have been so good

In context I 100% agree, it’s just knowing what we are capable of that isn’t realised at home. Perhaps frustrated is fairer than angry

I think at the moment, that's exactly what we are capable of.

We've been complaining that we don't have a striker, or we don't score enough goals, yet the bigger problem, in my opinion, has been at the other end. We've had seven games this season we haven't scored in. We've kept a grand total of eight clean sheets out of 41, which roughly means we concede in 4 out of every 5 games we play in.

That's not Allsop being ****, that's defensive liability (though he doesn't exactly cover himself in glory). I don't want to single anybody out in particular, but there are two players in our backline that just aren't cutting it for me and they haven't been for a while now.

He had some crazy assist stats last year as well. He’s not a mirror of coyle that’s for sure

Win at QPR is a must, as well as the game in hand against Coventry.

Norwich have to lose twice for us to have a chance.

I

I hope they miss an incredible performance and come back Saturday with their tails between their legs
Can’t beat evening kick offs IMHO

I get that sentiment but our attendances have increased significantly this season and last in no small part due to Acun encouraging people in Hull who may not even be supporters of City previously to attend. There’s been a heavy emphasis and incentive for parents to bring their kids. I can’t really blame them for giving this one a miss.

Even I had to leave around the 88th minute tonight due to the delayed kickoff so I could get the bus and I never leave before the final whistle.

we played really well today, bar the first 20 mins

we created 18 chances and 7 on target
their keeper made a wonder save
a defender cleared a shot off the line

and some poor finishing should have won us the game

alsopp cost 1 goal, almost 2 with the palming it right to their striker

today showed the potential of the system

its not possible to play with max tempo for all 90, players tire, momentum changes,
but when we need a breather and/or the opposition ups their tempo, controlling the ball slows the game down and puts in our hands
we upped the tempo quite a lot today and created the chances

boro are a good team who also needed to win, like i said, in and of itself, this was a great game of football and shows why the championship is good

we had no one to bring on really, shocking bench

inexperiened team and inexperienced manager
we need some good recruitment in the summer
