I actually prefer being behind the goal.
I’m not denying ours are very good value for money, but a triple inflation rise, given the rises in just about everything this week, what do you deny yourself to pay for the extra amount. They can start complaining when the reach Sheffield Wednesday’s level.

Not everyone has loads of spare cash, and for fans to say oh it’s only £2-3-5 extra, it’s still got to be found from somewhere
We were paying below the going rate. Given all the rules about FFP etc how do people expect us to compete against teams charging far higher prices? Norwich’s cheapest is £530 yet they have a waiting list for tickets.Wednesday will be charging those prices if relegated but will still be getting 24,000 or so.I’m not denying ours are very good value for money, but a triple inflation rise, given the rises in just about everything this week, what do you deny yourself to pay for the extra amount.

One less beer a month, solved.
Half a pint in some placesOne less beer a month, solved.
Don’t think anyone is ‘happy’ to pay more, it’s more that people think it’s still good value compared to the price of other things reallyStrange how so many fans are happy about paying more money out for their memberships, you can fool most of the people all of the time.
Exactly, less beer, that’s a step too farI can take a joke, sod a pantomime.
The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Give em progress or a positive outlook and people don’t mind contributing I thinkI’ve been quite surprised at the reaction to the prices, there’s normally a significant amount of divvies on Facebook and Twitter, who complain about the prices however good they are.
On this occasion, they seem to have been pretty much universally welcomed, probably because Acun’s doing such a good job.

You should have seen @FER ARK ’s face yesterday when he bought us a pint of Staropramen after golf and it was £6.20…each!!!I think it’s also because everything else has gone up too.
People know City haven’t risen prices for a while, it still feels good value.
3 is indeed an odd number. It is also a prime number.
If you buy a new membership before the increase, can you get it at the cheaper price if you pay for the whole year (if that’s even possible)? I’m not being deliberately tight-fisted, live in London and can’t do Hull and back in a day anymore.
From memory last year cash up front wasn't available until late June, bring it on this year. They have allowed people to pay for a year at a time even though that isn't how the membership is designed to work (they want you to commit indefinitely, not for one season at a time). I think just people who have specifically asked for that option, rather than it being a publicised offering.
But I assume that if you do that, they'd calculate a price for year based on the new prices rather than just using the old ones.

I think giving you £6.20 to drink Staropramen is very reasonable. You should have seen @FER ARK ’s face yesterday when he bought us a pint of Staropramen after golf and it was £6.20…each!!!
