This is a rather pointless poll, there isn't a single person on this board who doesn't think we need to move the ball forward more quickly, but that doesn't mean there's an issue with playing a possession based game.

Yes
I like the principle of the system
But can rosie take us to that next level kf being able to turn domination into attacking chances and goals

Im unsure

Possession based football slows the attacking game naturally. And this system has been a hinderance to our points total. Perhaps that should be the question instead? Has Rosenior’s system caused us to underachieve? Mind you, someone will say it’s unfair or pointless if the result doesn’t go their way. You can create one if you want? :emoticon-0105-wink:

Haha! Maybe someone should improve the question? <laugh>

The way the question is framed is nonsensical.

The system per se is different to its application.

Any system played well will be entertaining. Any system played badly will be turgid.

Seen plenty of turgid long ball over the years. No thanks.

Problem we have at the moment is that instinctive play doesn't just happen, it takes time and stability to develop. Churning over practically your entire attack every transfer window is never going to achieve fluidity.

How about if I create one that asks ‘Are we playing the right system to see us make the next step?’

I am genuinely struggling with the wording here. Anyone got any ideas? <yikes>

To a degree yes, I’ve seen us look amazing & finish with a goal, but if you want to watch TV & see Man City, Villa, Liverpool or Spurs zipping it round & then expect Hull City to do the same, then you’re going to be very disappointed!

We've used possession based football more as a defence tactic this season, in that the opposition can't score without the ball, we all want Rosenior to now add the missing thing, scoring goals from our long periods of possession.
