They've said it is not **** or bust, that the FA won't let them take risks like that as they're still under enhanced audit due to their probationary license. They've said 10th is the expectation and 8th would be seen as progress. They've said they have the headroom to go again. Get a tigers plus sub, or watch the 1904 live with tan and inform yourself, rather than leaving it to your own subjective intuition. They've rebutted basically everything you're assuming.
I have absolutely no idea, but I'm confident that they know they can match the backing. And that won't be unfounded. Suspect there'll be a lot of business though.
Ok, I'll spell out the FACTS . Ipswich were struggling. He came in and they won 7 of their 1st 10 under him. Went unbeaten for 11 games and set a new club record of not conceding. Last season, his 1st full season in charge, they went up. Of course sone of their fans doubted him at first. He was 35!!.
But then we go down the road “new team” “time to gel” etc etc so “yet” becomes another season. If and if we get 10 games in and Rosie’s shown the door then we are new manger needs time, needs x amount of windows etc. it goes on and on. Which again brings me back to a wasted opportunity. The squad needs to be built with less “big player” loans which costs us more in transfer fees
Absolutely ****ing obsessed with budget If our budget is 9th We cant even dream of finishing higher **** me
He was expected to win it because they were running a championship budget FFS! Especially when they looked like dropping out of the autos. And he was under pressure from some of the fanbase because of that. It's only this season he's overachieved and that's due to 18months of project building where the club stood by him.
We can, but it has to be acknowledged it's against the odds. And no right thinking person would make overachieving a bare minimum to keep their job. It's being set up to fail.
Top 6 or 8 budgets in this league practically are premier league budgets. Ruttter alone cost Leeds 34m. We've spent less than 20m in fees entirety since the takeover. That's the disparity we're dealing with.
Unrealistic expectations. Aspiration is fine by me, but when that becomes expectation is setting up to fail.
He inherited a struggling side irrespective of budget. 18 months of "project building and "sticking by him"!!?!! He got them promoted and has carried it on in some style this season. Anyway, ok, I give up. Think whatever you want.
It’s different for people my brother broke his leg early twenties , wouldn’t play again and he was very good . I cut my finger off with a circular saw and played two weeks later with a bandage - didn’t take throw ins LOL The carry over was when I used a drill again of it kicked you hit flashback for a year or two . You need heart or desire to get past it I hope Aaron has them . At his age he shouldn’t really be frightened of much .
It not being unrealistic is very different to 6th or else as there are at least 6 better resourced, more experienced and established squads.
So next season is out then too? As it wont be as experienced or established squad as itll be a rebuild How about season after?
I will. Bury your head in wiki. But he was backed to win it and nearly fell short of autos. That's a fact.
We shouldn't expect 6th as a bare minimum or off with his head, no. Were going to have to overachieve to get there. Again, there's nothing wrong with aspiration, but we'll have to defy the odds.
