We will be good for 60 minutes. Then rubbish for half an hour and end up losing. Just like every week.
We can only hopeI did say I was going to do one!
I know Smallbone isn't popular, but I'd have him in our best side over Aribo; was a big part of that unbeaten run we had.
Whilst on loan at Swindon a few years back he filled in at that position on occasion.Seriously though great thread Laces. As someone said on another thread I wouldn't be opposed to trying Stephens as a DM to help out Downes. I am sure Stephens played DM at one of his loan spells or am I confusing him with someone else?

It's really not. The new thing is much more interesting. Music is screwed right now, best off out. (thank you though!)

Saints master plan is to extend our suffering. Autos is for the faint-hearted. Why do that when you can screw the fans for longer by participating in the play offs.
Up the Saints
And you get a trophy. We didn’t get one when we went up 2nd. Be nice to have another cup on the trophy shelf…I mean in the trophy cabinetPlayoffs are the best way to get promoted anyway. The other 46 games are all just the pre-season warm up.

As I've never tried to create a Match Day thread before, I reasoned that Things Can Only Get Better, so here goes:
Saints are doing their best to cement their place in this season's playoffs, by failing to score more than most other teams. Blackburn are next up, so we can only hope that a combination of lucky deflections, missed chances, dodgy refereeing decisions, incorrect offsides and world-class goalkeeping will result in a Saints win.
There should be gaps in the opposition's defence, as there are apparently 4000 holes in Blackburn Lancashire
Any idea where they are or how big? Potholes I can avoid but large craters need prior warning. Going to this one. Record so far this season at away games is 2 defeats, 2 wins and a draw. Not including the game in the 70’s at the old ground. We lost badly. Best I can hope for is a draw, as Blackburn have found their scoring boots. Szmodics never lost his.As I've never tried to create a Match Day thread before, I reasoned that Things Can Only Get Better, so here goes:

If you have lots of rather small holes, that could end up being rather meshyAs far as I can remember (OK, I looked it up):
"I read the news today, oh boy
Four Thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire
And though the holes were rather small
They had to count them all
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill The Albert Hall"
I'm getting out of music - doing some new stuff now, so fear not!
