I submit monthly reading , pay that months figure by dd
You say you only pay for what you use - but we are also going to pay for what others use- Ofgems instruction to the companies to apply an extra charge to paying customers to cover the arrears of others . Ofgem helping them keep up their cash flow and increasing profits

Why not just pay it from your ordinary account? They can take mine anytime they want if they have your dd info.<ok>

Yes taken from ordinary bank acct.
I put in reading on 13th, they email bill ( which I check against my spreadsheet calculation) and then dd comes out around the 29th.

Aye I do the same thing except pay it the day after it arrives,
Every year they say I have to open a dd to get the cheaper rate so I do. After the first month just cancel it and pay for what you use. They never alter the rate ( eon ) they just leave it<laugh> mind they are corrupt bastards anyway if you go full dd method, so bollocks to them.

What it means is we want equal rights if we are worse off than 'x group' but if we are better off we don't want equal rights and stay how we are thanks!

When you look at statistics women live longer so if anyone should be working longer? Maybe the early retirement and traditionally the woman being the housemaker is the reason for those stats and we will see a change in future generations?
 
So it turns out that we have a new digital marketing partner (ROAR) who joined yesterday.

And it also turns out that their Managing Director is a mag…. How do I know this? He’s my cousin!!!

Really good at what he does though so it won’t get in the way
