Listening to some of the news this morning, and more so Russia's reaction, it feels like they will use the Moscow terrorrist attack as an excuse to commit some sort of atrocity on Ukraine. Hope I'm wrong.

Couldn't possibly be that Russia has morphed into an alt right fascist cult of personality that targets all minorities.

I've also read reports that Russians are now called by Ukrainian based hackers who have convinced old ladies to throw molotovs at voting booths

 

It's a bizarre response ... logistically it would be virtually impossible to get through the Russian special forces / patrols all along the front line ... and then Ukraine is hardly the most friendly Jihadist destination in the world now, is it?

The idea that these attackers were heading to Ukraine afterwards is just beyond mental. Hardly like that's a border you can just go and cross with ease at this point in time is it

 

No doubt the captured terrorists will now be shown on TV admitting how they were cooperating with the Ukrainians who were helping them…

Anyone who is a fair man will know that once Islamic state take credit for anything then it is by default a scumbag act in the eyes of the everyday Muslim

and in the month of Ramadan too with the message this month preaches us, just further proves to us that these low lives do not represent the faith of Islam in any way shape or form, they are a stain on the faith by association

I think the way Putin will play it will be to try to galvanise public support by saying "look we're being attacked from all sides".

I doubt he'll try and link IS to Ukraine, but he'll use it to say back me bcos I need to protect you from everyone who's out to get us (his main purpose of course will be to use that to continue his invasion of Ukraine).

Yeah that last bit is what I think. He’s already played the they were heading to Ukraine line.

I expect to see another mobilisation in a week or so to protect the Motherland.

 

I've not watched the news since early morning so not up to date with things. My thoughts are it would be ridiculous to link IS to Ukraine. For one thing, U.S. intelligence would blow it right out of the water bcos they warned him well in advance.

What Putin could get away with though is saying Ukraine are fascists and IS are fascist terrorists. Mother Russia is under threat from fascists, we must stay strong blah blah bollox.
