I was talking to a mate yesterday, about the financial issues at Sunderland and whether he thinks we can be sustainable.

He doesn't think we currently are but are on the right road.

He also mentioned ipswich who are doing things completely differently but won't be able to sustain it if they fail to go up. Now Leeds have gone top I think they're in the play-offs.

Apparently they're spending twice what they earn which will come back to bite them on their arse.

If they're still in the Championship, next season, they'll have to spend again because players on L1 wages will want increases and any new signings will have to be paid more. In my opinion they'll also have 'second season syndrome' and won't perform as well. We've had that, to an extent, and we need the boost of a new manager although we'll obviously have to sign some players.

Hopefully we'll be able to pay for all that with player sales and get into the play-offs. Whatever happens there's no threat of sanctions and no financial problems.

I ptosed previously about off the field income and you went off on a rant about nor buying shirts, merchandise or anything in ground amd how it was awesome in 1989 at somewhere away.

Then 2 days ago you moan on about people wanting WiFi etc. Then waffle on about how great it is being sustainable

This was my very first comment on this thread,

"I can't post this but I know, for certain, that KLD has sanctioned substantial work, on the SOL this summer, which everyone will benefit from."

So, you were about to tell me where I was deriding people about this.

I didn't 'jump on' your comments, I politely responded.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with what I said or how I said it.

My first comment to you was,

"Two PL clubs have just had points deductions tbf."

How on earth is that jumping on you?

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned off the field and you went off because I want there at so and so away game in 1992, the update on WiFi, you whinged about because people shouldn't, the hand dryers etc you mention the piss filled roker end.
I mentioned shirt sales, you said it didn't matter and you hadn't bought a replica shirt for years.

Yes I have opinions that some share and some don't.

How soft do people have to be if you can't post a contrary opinion about wifi in the ground ....

... seriously, this is ridiculous.

I was praising the club the other day about the wifi and pointed out that Southampton are planning to have some.

Am I not entitled to say I'm not worried if I can't get wifi for 90 minutes which was all I said.
