With Roy, Still, Farioli mentioned what's the opinions of the French league?

A proving ground for up and coming coaches? Doesn't appear to be as dominated by money (psg apart)
I like the portugese league as a place for young managers to come through. Germany next. Not so sure about France, but no reason why not of course.

Isn't the Portuguese league a slower pace? More technical than English leagues?

Showing my lack of European knowledge up now. We are very unique compared to other leagues

Probably right mate. I just think of the coaches that have come from their. More than a fair share of winners. Amorim looks the next big thing and I reckon the lad at Porto, whose contract is up in the summer, might be a really good coach too heading to a big job.

Portuguese teams seem to take on just retired players and move them through the ranks.

Something that very rarely happens here

Like the sound of that, seems to rely on wing backs rather than wingers not sure we have the players for that (yet) not afraid to go two up top either, become alien in this country, would definitely be an interesting appointment
I thought that about the wing backs. Wouldn't be disappointed if it was him though.

If that is him (and I'd want the opinion of an ear specialist before I believe it is), how would people feel about him?
He won the Polish league last year and probably doesn't have a cockney accent
- ah free agent, that's a no then <laugh><laugh>

Marek Papszun was interested in the Sunderland job

Papszun has spent his managerial career in his home nation of Poland, most recently being in charge of Rakow Czestochowa.
At the end of last term, he led them to their first ever Ekstraklasa title, but has since become a free agent and has reportedly been approached by UK and Saudi-based clubs.

Here's a interesting question (well to me)

What style of play do we want from our head coach?

For me, it's a high press, high intensity don't let them settle approach with quick passing and interplay. Wingers and fullbacks high up the pitch

That for me too, something that gets us off our seats from minute one, good honest front foot football

I've never understood people who see arguing as an Olympic sport. My ex wife was a master of it, which is why I divorced her! :emoticon-0116-evilg

We are from all walks of life, have differing views on almost everything and have different posting styles, some humourous, some aggressive, some intelligent and some absolutely barking mad, but we all have one thing in common....

Our love of Sunderland AFC and wanting the very best for it. <cheers>
Class post, I wish I had 1 yr after getting married, 41 yr ago. Lol

Not at all, I'm talking about one particular agent who's apparently happy for Bob to blab all over the internet.

Absolutely laughable tbh.
My last post on this, Smug,s we don't know each other that's fine, I ain't send any more info on this post till it played out, and no hard feelings over what we have said.

Yep that sounds great
I like the way Arteta sets up his Arsenal side
- we just need to find a cheap Declan Rice, Odegaard and Saka :emoticon-0103-cool:
