In 60 years I've never heard anyone say 'Our lass is moaning about the matches so I'm stopping' <laugh>

Fans drive this statistic just as much if not more than chairmen, who often act out of fear of backlash, our fans are some of the worst culprits in the country as well, any sign of bad form and a certain section want someone to lose their job, even now when we realise there's no manager to sack we're looking around for someone else to get it. I'll get pelters for this but i couldn't give a shiny sh!te, it's true and the last 20 years are there for all to see.

my last point on this, i love the club, i will always go home and away, ive only missed a few away this season, what's got me really wound up is,
KLD said and i was at the meeting, we will be self funded, but we will not stop till we are back to where we should be, Now i get that !!, but to change the manager and the senior playing staff to accommodate Kristjaan is beyond a joke, and all common sense, that's besides the BCB fiasco, but then to sweep the lot under the carpet is annoying to say the least.
YES that's having a dig at the running of the club, but worst part is the arrogance of KS to think he is untouchable, pisses me right off, to the point ive lost my seat upstairs, just for questioning his way of treating TM and appointing numb nuts.

    END OF RANT.

that’s all good points mate and to be you and a few others have mentioned that about speakman, to be fair you will know better than us as you’ve been around him. His mate Dodds has made reference today in his press conference about having too many youngsters so it seems everyone around him is saying it.

P45 Sunday if we get beat then. Has any club ever had 4 "managers" in 1 season before? :emoticon-0102-bigsm

OK, this is just a question so don't go off the deep end, I'm just puzzled by all this.

Are you employed by the club and, if not, what gives you the right to question Speakman on club affairs ...

... especially as he's directly employed by the owner?

Was this conversation private or were other people present?

TBH if an outsider came into my business, and started questioning my decisions, I'd asked them to get off the premises.

As I say, no offence, just asking.

I think Speakman might well be on his way in the summer personally. Simply based on his performance this year. If KLD is as determined as I hope he is to deliver then I doubt he will trust Speakman with another year personally. Too many roads lead back to him when it comes to the poor choices we have made, in my opinion. It will be a thanks for help turning us round from me, but a case of we need to step up in that position to a more elite level to progress.

Absolutely agree mate 100%. To me that would show KLD is committed to us long term and determined to succeed. The last 12 months football decisions have been shocking and that’s on speakman, my only concern is KLD looking to leave. Nick Barnes article the other day for roker report I think mentioned the rumours of him wanting to leave, he wouldn’t write that lightly in my opinion.

Barnes is a very poor journalist in my opinion, I rarely believe a word he says.

A lot of Sporting Director/DoF movement coming this summer across English football. I'd be pretty excited if we decided it was time for a change, not because I necessarily want KS gone but because it's a perfect time for change imo.

What I would say though is if we move on from Speakman, the person who comes in won't be too different to him in terms of what they say, how they say it and their overall idea on how the club should be ran.

Also I would warn fans not to expect us to poach someone from a club higher up the food chain or to have heard of whoever gets the job. More than likely it will either be someone who is either in a lesser job at a top club, or someone in a similar role further down the leagues.

I will ask around and post if I find anything out.

Cheers mate. Wouldnt be at all bothered if whoever a DOF was did a first jnterview and then was never heard from again personally. The coach is the voice us fans want to hear from. Hopefully we get a system where DOF and Head Coach work hand in glove.

If we were to appoint a head coach this season I think that would signal Speakman going nowhere but the longer it goes without an appointment the more I lean towards KLD wanting a full clean slate in the summer so I guess we'll find out soon enough

No, not employed by the club, worked with the club during Bob Murray's.
Worked with Ellis Short for a bit not long mind you 8 or 9 months.
What gives me the right to critizise KS?, after seeing my friend TM embarrassed by him, the lies he told re Beal had been in discussions for 2 or 3 weeks before he was appointed is total bollocks, it was done over 5 days, then as with TM stick a non disclosure on their termination, smacks of covering his tracks.
I was not the only 1 who gave voiced criticism another 2 were move. What gives me the right he has turned from a canny bloke to an arrogant fool.
Employed by the owner who IMHO has been led a bit of a dance, but young and naive I think. Now that bit is just my opinion.
He speakman will be caught out and soon I hope.
