Maybe fun is the wrong word, interesting maybe? His football is dire but we'd definitely get a few wins.
Other than a few rumours from people on a message board, where does is say he is looking to sell the club.
You'd think you sat in on the board meetings the way you carry on. You know **** all and the constant negativity you spout only hurts the club.
Was referring to the rumours on here mate, if they are true whats the reasoning behind it. Wasn’t saying he’s going to sell
Wouldn't believe a lot of what is said on here, if he was looking to sell I'm sure some on the media would of got hold of the info by now
Drama, drama, drama on this board. Sack the manager. Sack the sporting director. Sack the coaches. Question the owner's ambition and commitment. A whole lot of bed wetting over one bad season. Buying youth is always going to be a long term project, that's kind of the point of it, we need some patience and we need some perspective. We are better off than where we were. Next season these young lads will have more games under their belt. We can't keep taking up torches and pitchforks like this.
said this before and still think it applies, there’s no protests or demands being thrown about from the actual crowd! It’s just mainly Fanny’s on social media and people repeating it all day every day on here. fact is we are still getting good crowds as soon as the crowd has something to cheer they oblige.
they have not got a clue we need to be back where we were in the premier league can these handle it ? i don't think so, we need experience in that team now and a good manager, how much have they put in ? not a striker bought says it all.
Not at all. Not my fault it's negative, it's reality. Are you telling me Neil and Mowbray didn't have issues with speakman. The both did and aired it enough to the press, in the end. That's not to mention half the stuff that went on behind the scenes, that plenty of people knew about.
As they say the times are a changing. Most professional sports nowadays use a selection committe to determine a matchday squad and the coach/manager generally has the final say and has control of the matchday tactics. Happens in rugby, AFL, rugby league, American football, baseball and ice hockey to name a few. Remember when it was the manager who solely decided who his transfer targets were? Well this is the next evolvement in the game.
It's just the number I heard mate. Maybe something else involved in it. Could be on top of certain monies received after initial outlay is paid back to him. Would imagine it could be canny complicated with JS shares etc. I don't have an issue with the evolving nature of it. But I have an issue with how prominent the person is. For me, should be in the shadows doing the work , not being so visible. Then you look at our last 3 windows. Terrible. The head coach issues with Beale and Dodds, terrible. The handling of the squad balance and experience, terrible. IMO there is enough for him to get the chop.
Yeah, what you've heard. Sounds like, at best, you're passed information by someone with an axe to grind about Speakman. He's clearly not a likable bloke so he's bound to rub people up the wrong way but it means it's not a balanced source. "For you"- other people have a different opinion so stop going on like it's fact. As for Beale and Dodds, that wouldn't be such a problem if people, and I'm not pointing any fingers here, hadn't made such a ridiculous fuss about Beale, contributing to his sacking. For all that I "was told in December/January", I said that Beale shouldn't have been sacked. But he was and, oh look, the situation has got even worse. That was completely predictable. Except of course, I take no pleasure in that having come to pass.
I know this is night and day, but when it comes to contracts, anything is possible. The Rock has it in every film contract he will never be bested, beaten on be shown weak on screen.
With Jobe there is the brand building. Changing his name after the season started, number 7 shirt and is definitely getting more gametime. He is a very good prospect but it's very odd.
The Bellinghams are clearly clever people. Subconsciously the number 7 shirt is quite famous because of past people whom have worn it. As for the name change after the Season started, found that a very strange thing to do and why was it allowed?
If he is going to sell, I’d hope he does it before the transfer window. Would prefer it if he just let Speakman and Dodds go, but I think he’s completely in love with KS and won’t let him go.
Looks to me like Reims season is petering out a bit. Europe looking unlikely now and relegation some way off. Wonder if any deal with them for Still might be easier to do now than it was in December? Some compo now better than none in the summer?
