Will Still saying today that he'd be interested in "an ambitious Championship club".

Of the Sunderland job in December, he said:

It sounds like he's open to a conversation again in the summer.

He is very vocal though which is a bit concerning and he speaks a lot about his ambitions being different to Reims.

It'll be interesting to see if this happens and whether it results in a slightly more aggressive summer in the transfer market (spending the entire Clarke money if he goes).
unless dodds pulls of a masterpiece till the end of the season i honestly think will still will be on the touch line first game of the season

Just not true though is it. Just look at January, Hjelde played every game since joining, Mundle has shown he is ready and was arguably our best player against Birmingham, Styles will play just unfortunate timing to get appendicitis

Seelt has also been class when given a chance , and we have yet to see what others can do given a game or two in their natural positions due to continually giving the same players the shirt when they are obviously struggling to fit in for one reason or another.

The truth is quickly becoming irrelevant tbh, those three players may well become fixtures. But this 'fact' about KLD trousering the Stewart fee is being repeated so often, in one way or another, people are starting to believe it.

All of a sudden people are 'becoming concerned about the ownership situation' ...

... even though there is no situation.

As you've mentioned it's just deliberately spreading misinformation, or lies if you like, purely to discredit the club.

There's nothing wrong with opinions but this is just propaganda.

I don’t want Will Still for this exact reason. He will rub many up the wrong way. Some because he’s confident. Some because he’s young. Some because he’s southern. There’s no way he’d work. And all of this is irrelevant to his actual ability.

I don't want him but purely because the puns on his name will become excruciating ...

... here's my preemptive strike <laugh>

we've spent money every window, one of the biggest spenders in england this january and one of the biggest spenders in the league again

How does this fare with Hull/Ipswich being in trouble next year for how much they’ve thrown at promotion..? :emoticon-0127-lipss

If this is the guy we always wanted and were preferred to wait it makes the appointment of Beale even more bizarre. Have to pay him off and we're back with dodds in charge anyway

I'm only say what happens if will still asks for a big kitty.
You need not defend the club, its just a bit of fun
I think any new coach will be made well aware of the model and recruitment process. But yeah, I can understand you want to add a bit of WUM fun to the debate, nothing wrong with that, just don't get upset if you receive a lot of pelters <laugh>

And not 1p on first team ready players
You joining in with Bob's fun day?

Yet we have spent money so we do have a transfer kitty to spend. Its such a false narrative folk spin when they say we dont spend money - we do.

I get the argument about the model, some will love it, some will hate it and some want it tweaked - thats a fair argument to have

I hate the argument folk make saying we dont spend money - pretty much all our signings these days cost us money. Whether folk think theyve spent the money wisely or not, they have spent money.

As I've said before some people just want us to spend and keep spending because they think that's the only way forward.

But, instead of just happily admitting that, people twist themselves inside out couching their argument in 'riddles, tweaks and flex'.

That's clearly failed in previous years but we now have the sword of Damocles, hanging over us, in the form of FFP, etc.

When so many clubs are in financial peril I don't think a 'shiit or bust' policy is the right way.

Whoever we appoint, please don’t force Dodds and Proctor onto them as assistant head coaches or whatever we call them.

Expand the coaching staff and let them stay by all means, but please let the new man bring his own people in as well.
This. We're never going to attract anyone a bit "next level" unless we allow them to bring their own staff in.

well with how much there wages to turnover is,
it could be a massive, but people don't like to here that when it's mentioned but it's the truth

also baring in mind a lot of hull players are on loan aswell so if the don't go up. they will have another massive rebuild on there hands

what if dodds didn't want it then with it being over half a season left?
