Philogene - pressing and defensive work rate was equal to his attacking flair and creativity, essentially had two assists and was involved in a lot of what went well for us
Slater - thought he was outstanding in midfield, pressed when he needed to, won the ball back, and sprayed some lovely passes about. Shows why some of us think he could do a job in the PL
Carvalho - Excellent performance from him, was busy, got himself about the pitch and deserved the goal to cap it off

Carvalho - best game so far, by far. Really flourished thanks to Omur and Seri
Seri - what a joy to see him and he seems reinvigorated
Omur - this boy is special. How did we ever sign him? Well done Acun.

But all the starters were Ab Fab. Not a weak link among them. We could, or rather should, have been 4-0 up at half time. And even after they scored had a great chance for a third which should have been buried. 2-1 flattered them. What a great evening out, only spoiled by silly M3 road closures both ways.

If I was the guy who has to count up the votes it'd do my head in how often people spoil their ballot by putting "the fans" or the same player three times or something else invalid. Just pick three players you rascals.

It's like on my pod when the guest says "Can I give all 6 votes to Tufan" or something like that and I laugh along but inside I'm thinking "Just give me three players!"

Very hard to pick... Going to have to go with

Zaroury
Carvalho
Philogene

Everyone else narrowly misses out, but those three above for the goals and assists alone just pip the rest to the top 3 spots.
