Barely touched the ball to be honest.

Surprised we left Clarke on for 90 mins mind I mentioned this when we signed Mundle.. he never gets subbed so is Mundle going to be getting used on the right unless Clarkes not available?

The trouble is these players seem to want to play every minute ...

... and at 3-1 Beale would be criticised if they'd scored.

I'd love to see Mundle, Rigg, Pembele, Styles, Aouchiche, etc, but results are all that matter. I don't think we'll see a change at Huddersfield unless Jobe comes back in, another who always seems to want to play, although I'm pleased we have this daft 'undroppable' idea sacked off.

The players around Rigg had become cautious so he couldn't shine yesterday imo.

Top man. Emotional and he will be going through it. Well done to those in the crowd today for that, shows what we are about.

He talked well about the game too. Thought he was spot on about team rotation and having to manage this week carefully. He sounds like a manager who has plotted to the end of the season and knows where he needs to get his points to achieve the target.

He will definitely rotate as he was looking at this as a 3 game run. I expect Jobe and Burstow/Hemir to be starting midweek with Rusyn and Ba/Roberts rested. Fans need to understand that this is rotation to try and get optimal performance, it's not "dropping" players.

One thing about Rigg when he came on was noticing again how easily he copes physically with the game. Good pace with his closing down / blocking off passes and jumped really well to win a header. Some players like being on the ball more and some like the defensive side more. Rigg looks like he loves doing both.

What about resting JC on Wednesday and giving Rusyn or Mundle a run out wide left giving Hemir a chance up front.
Think I'd leave Jobe on the bench, fancy bringing him and JC on for the last 25 minutes along with Rigg, the permutations are limitless at the minute and just think if we got all our defenders fit, bloody hell what a problem to have, so good luck MB, but your doing all right so far son.

No chance, i get what your saying but clarke has to start. Hes our go to player so him n neil have the start every game that they are fit, probably the only 2 we cant cope without

Cracking win. Poor 1st half but a cracker of a 2nd half. 3 good goals cracking substitutions at the right time to keep momentum and some cracking performances. Clarke is awesome but Dan Neil when he plays like that is a rolls Royce of a player. Heldje looks solid onien impressive again. Lots of positives to take take to Huddersfield on Wednesday night and Birmingham saturday. We'll done to all including the coach. :1980_boogie_down:

I'd agree with all of that but I have to admit to a slight reservation about Hjelde ...

... and not just that people can't spell his name <laugh>

He's powerful and confident but his first touch isn't as good as he thinks it is and he's sometimes a little out of position. He hasn't really been 'attacked' yet so I'd like to see him up against a good winger so he can prove me wrong. If he's as good as he looks the club have picked up another bargain.

Two things I missed, with Clarke's goal, was the phenomenal pass from Hume and the little run from Dan Neil that drew Mumba away. It's the little things that confirm the players are being coached well. We have to be confident, at Huddersfield, their defence looked a shambles from the highlights I saw. Thankfully it's not far, for a midweek game, Coventry are at Plymouth!

Safe journey down there mate, I'm looking at trains but it's messy.

He was up against one of the most in form wingers in the league yesterday?

That's true but they only had around 30% possession and played mostly long balls.

In fact it was a very strange game all round.

I did notice Rusyn didn't celebrate Jobe's goal at all, perhaps the other two as well ...

... he has a very different character to most of the squad, hopefully he'll grow into the culture.

Rusyn there on this clip. Worth posting again just for the beauty of a finish

That's a great clip.

In the highlights though there's no reaction when the ball hits the net ...

... I just looked at Clarke's goal and it's the same. To be fair I've noticed this with other strikers, they're selfish and scoring themselves is what they care about more than anything.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but what other club in England or even world would take off two players at a critical stage of a game and bring on an 18yr old and 16yr old. It's amazing really and something we should be really proud off
