... and will falter next season. They currently have the worst form of any team in the top eight, will gain two points from the next four games and won't make it to Wembley in the play-offs. They've conceded more than Bristol City, in the bottom half, which is never the sign of a team being in the top two. All of a sudden I don't like Ipswich and the media arse licking they're receiving.
Spot on smug, think they'll make playoffs but will be highly disappointed not getting 2nd place. They'll go into the play offs not being in a good place
But but they've spent loads and got Moore in on 30k a week - they're certainties to go up automatically. People have posted on here saying as such
I don’t see them going up at all and never did. The start was ridiculous but we should have beaten them opening day and fact we didn’t have them a real boost that launched the run. They are nowhere near the 3 that came down ability wise or depth wise, they are even with us but I’d argue we have better individuals overall. Credit to them and their gaffer for what they e done but they have spent like a top half Championship side for 2 years in order to become one. There’s no ****ing fairytale there.
The media seem to be supporting a club massively overspending and taking a huge risk in a promotion push, their fans may be over the moon now but not if they fail to go up and face FFP penalties next season. I hope they don’t go up.
It's difficult to say, football is so hard to predict. I think I remember you confidently predicting Leicester would get relegated in 2015-16 when they lost Cambiasso and we all know how that turned out haha. I don't think they will get automatics, but to be fair they have just had their worst period of the season and are still in prime position to clinch second place, so if they can re-discover their form there's no reason they can't do it. Playoffs are always a bit of a lottery but you'd have to think they would be one of the favourites, along with either Saints or Leeds (whichever doesn't get 2nd)...
Admittedly we were as high up in the league, but I remember last year between Feb - April we seemed to hit a tougher patch? Teams started to work us out a bit. Guessing the same will happen to them
I said last week I was happy they were beaten in the cup because of the talksport ****athon for them. just don't get it.
All teams seem to hit a bad patch… or is that just my faulty memory? I fancy us to finish this season in blistering form. Can’t say why, just a feeling, and I have the same feeling about boro tomorrow. Don’t blame me if I’m wrong - I’m not psychic!
