Oscar has played for us this season… he can’t go anywhere else can he?

There wasn’t an obligation to buy, it was reported just to be an option.

If it is him, it's a belting signing; he's already a fantastic player, but if he's coming permanently (presumably with a fitting buy back or sell on clause), then we've got ourselves a bargain.

Yup that's who I got to with Toast's hint. Coming back from serious injury last season. That would be three from Liverpool!

He can go to Brazil. I think the rule only applies to clubs that use a Summer scheduling system and play July/August through to May. Brazil, Argentina etc play April to December, so their Summer transfer window just opened.

Thought the winger we'd moved onto was only coming on loan now? I'd be more excited if he was coming permanently

Got to be excited just getting to deadline knowing you could still get players and don’t know what to expect apart from Omur.

I wouldn't say it was underwhelming, but it's a signing of intent and promise. The lad should be playing in the Championship and the consensus at Liverpool seems to be that he'd be going out on loan this window anyway.

Not every signing we make will have experience, we've signed plenty before who haven't had any and gone on to do very well. Like it was said above, he was injured last season, but he was on the fringes of first team and made a few appearances so Liverpool must rate him highly enough that he's included in matchday squads.

If it is him, I think it gives us two dynamic, pacy wingers. Can't say I've seen any of his end product in terms of crosses, but Lewie Coyle and Ryan Giles will probably be supplying that.

I remember being very underwhelmed at signing an inexperienced Harry Woo on loan from Liverpool.

Gordon was pretty decent yesterday for Toon, would be an alright signing.

If it is him we would have 3 Liverpool lads who might even be here next season never know.

I think if we're talking in terms of "we must reach the playoffs", then it doesn't really matter if we sign them on loan or not. The incentive is there for players to come in and potentially have a promotion on their CV, which will either get them recognised by their parent club or open up career options elsewhere. I don't much buy into this "they must breathe black and amber" to come here, some players just want to play football and do well and if a player wants to do that for different reasons than playing for Hull City, provided it doesn't impact their performance, I can't say I'm too bothered if they're desperate to come or forced to come at gunpoint by Acun.

Only managed 7 goals and 4 assists in 14 games, the useless sod. And he had a **** haircut.

Got to admit I would be happy with Gordon especially on a permanent but it would probably be a loan as linders said they are impressed with how their lads are being developed and taken care of by the club.

Would depend what division we are in. In the Premier League you can only have two domestic loan signings. In the Championship I think it's four from the same club.

Where are you getting this from about pace?
Not that I take FIFA that serious but I would trust their researchers over you.

Harry Wilson wasn’t it. Harry Woo is one of our young chaps.

I'd just feel more comfortable developing an inexperienced player during a crucial period for us, if we'd gain a long term benefit from it. A lot depends on how this winger performs imo and if someone is coming in for a few months only i'd rather have someone with experience. Hopefully he's brilliant for us, but it feels like a risk

In fact, Harry Vaughn has better stats than Gordon. Not all Liverpool development team turn into superstars
