It’s difficult to work out if Adbdulkadir and the permanent deal are done - with the ‘special something’ being worked on (another loan)

I think by "= done" Baz was meaning that's it if they both get over the line. Not that they were done already.
He meant as in that’s all they want. It’s in reply to someone asking if they’re still in for a striker.
If/when Rak-Sakyi joins we will have a team of young potential superstars other managers just won’t know how to set up or the tactics to use to stop them they can’t exactly man mark all the tricky buggers.
So assuming the Josh King rumour was true, Baz said four of the five winger targets were domestic so it would make more sense for it to be Josh rather than Ryan Kent given previous comments Acun has revealed about him. Not sure King is the player he was anyway so perhaps not the worst that he doesn’t want to come
Interesting to know whether the winger has gone from buy status to loan because of FFP, or whether that player is now not available anymore and we are going for a lower target
Josh King wants to play in the Premier League - it’s not infeasible that it could be a late in the day move if no Premier League interest was forthcoming. Although Baz does seem to suggest that the loan winger will be the end of it.
Or they’ve got Abdulkadir on a permanent now instead of the summer to allow for a better player on loan for this season.
No, think we're looking at someone who can hit the ground running, not another inexperienced kid coming back from Injury. Seems like our requirements have changed since summer.
