Shows how risk averse Premier League clubs (and indeed Championship clubs) are at signing League One players. He always looked a top player in League One but the fact that Boro were able to get him from City for just £1m was ridiculous. Got to assume City have a large sell on, which might be why Boro are standing so firm.
That's very true but we never miss an opportunity to shoot ourselves in the foot. It's like we've been cursed. I can't get over 2004 and being one game away from Europe.
This season we've been bailed out by Clarke more than we've won games by being the better side. What's ridiculous is your absolute refusal to hear anything that's not comically positive about the club, to the point where you're arguing that day is night and black is white.
He's one of our players who's been given the role of getting the ball and scoring or assisting ... ... is Salah bailing out Liverpool? This is nothing to do with being positive about the club, it's simply impossible to be 'usually poor' and be in contention for promotion two seasons running, no matter how may ways you choose to spin it.
Probably Alex Pritchard who'll start on Saturday "Sunderland forward Jewison Bennette is undergoing a medical in Greece on Monday morning (29 January) as he finalises a move to Aris, sources have told Football Insider. The 19-year-old has jetted out to link up with the Thessaloniki-based club and put the finishing touches on a move to the Greek top flight. Bennnette will join Aris on an initial loan deal, with Football Insider revealing on Saturday (27 January) that he had agreed a temporary move away from Sunderland. The winger is under contract at the Stadium of Light until June 2026 – with the club holding the option to extend that deal by a further year."
If I were Man U, I wouldn't be keeping that Amad lad, he's rubbish, I think they should 100 percent keep the other lad, and send Amad out on loan somewhere. Infact, the further North the better imo. Definitely need to get shot of Amad, the sooner the better.
