Yeah and ultimately even calm and go along fella like Mowbray had enough and spoke out. Ultimately for him his P45.
They’ll have a replacement in mind, no doubt. Similar to when Akpom was sold and a fee was agreed in no time for his replacement - Latte Lath.
Because we were down to bare bones, and it suited us for game time, these guys ain't thick mate they know how to twist situations to get what they want.
he didn’t speak out about not being able to play Pritchard, or that he was forced to play certain players, tho did he?
He told us about the signings etc he never suggested he wasn’t picking the team. Indeed he regularly said ‘my job is to get the lads ready and pick the team’ or words to that effect. We all accept he was given players rather than choosing them, that’s a different kettle altogether (and not uncommon).
Yes in a round about way plus conversations with Barnsey not broadcast for obvious reasons over who would and would,nt play. How many times did he say we need a proper forward, he never wanted some of the 4 who came in. They ain't good enough and zmogga knew that.
So Speakman wanted the 4 strikers we signed, Mowbray didn't want the 4 strikers, but Speakman apparently picks the team yet none of them are really getting a solid amount of game time. That does not make sense.
yeh but they were not good enough for Mowbray either. So why was Mowbray not playing him? You’re alluding to him being instructed not to. All I’m saying is that Beale obviously didn’t get given the same instructions
That doesn’t alter that the suggestion is that Mogga was told not to play Pritch, but it’s sound for Beale to do so. It’s 2 completely different things not having the players he’d like (or the input) and being told not to play lads on the clubs books (who the owners, who don’t want the lad to play, renewed, then offered another renewal to?) Absolute horse **** and beyond the dictionary definition of contradictory. As an aside, the bloke who picks the side, Speakman, decides not to play any of his summer signings? Naaa. There isn’t a single syllable of sense in this nonsense.
Maybe cos someone wanted to try to prove Mogga was not doing the job right. Look we can knock this about all night, it's just how I see it and how you see it, we differ that's all. Plus who tells me things might not be as good as he thinks he is.
There might be a grain of something somewhere in it mate, but it was Mogga who chose not to play him. Brum squad is weaker than ours. I suggest that he has that inside knowledge that Pritch can be clawed away, and sees him as a bigger asset to Birmingham than he was to us. That makes perfect sense.
Team selections are not just decided by one person in modern day football, especially clubs that use the head coach system. Medical staff get a say, recruitment staff will ask questions, other coaches will have a big say, data analysts, performance analysts and so on. It's not some grand conspiracy. People need to get with the times.
Good point some of it is fact, and some what I and others on here know to be true, as fact, look I'm knackered I will find out most if not all the facts tomorrow
@SAFCsource No purchase option in Jewison Bennette's loan deal to Aris, despite the Greek outfit offering options up to €3m. The player and Sunderland rejected offers from Hibs, Cadiz and Stoke City. #SAFC
