Said after Hull away ‘we won’t go up this season’ and a few questioned why I said that after a win.

I said it because in that game you could see we had no sparkle at all, the fans dragged the team along.

Tonight was ****ing woeful, only positive for me was Hemir did look a lot closer to being a championship footballer than previously.

****ing tiny positive mind

Only positive I could find as well. Made me wonder how him and Rusyn would do together. If not then he looked like he might be more effective as a lone striker.

That was horrible to watch.
If we seemed to have a plan but were just not executing it then fine lets get behind it
But I seriously have no idea what Beale was trying to do tonight. Team set up, tactics, all just wrong
We have gone in a couple of months from being one of the most entertaining sides in the league to just Slow deliberate and dull.
Very raw at the minute but feeling very low. No idea where we go from here

Beale has shown absolutely nothing to suggest he’s gonna be a good gaffer for us, but to suggest we fire him this soon is just ridiculous.

The imbalance in the squad is so painfully obvious that any eyes need to go directly to the head of recruitment or whatever the **** he calls himself.

I’ve backed him from the start but if we don’t do something this window it’s 100% on one man, Senor Speakman.

It’s as clear as a horse **** in the snow that we are missin enough parts to stop a dinghy floating.

Tonight was exactly how his rangers team played - im really worried that this appt will set us back a yr or 2

Fair play to you mate for keeping your chin up, I can't do it today. He does need and deserve time like any new manager but I'm wondering what he's going to do with it.

Flat as a fart today at home against a mediocre team ravaged by injury. Crap subs and game management.
I just don't like seeing people given **** to be honest. I doubt he wants us to be crap, he's supposed to be on our side.

I don't agree with everything, or even a lot of his decisions. Just don't like the negativity.

Usually that they're working class and have heritage based in industry like our town or the towns nearby, our much maligned broad flat vowels that southerners sometimes struggle to understand or think of as quaint. The beauty of our Dales and Coastline which belong to us and make us feel at home.
Yes, yes. But just because someone has a different accent doesn't mean that they don't feel a connection to those things too.

Hull will never be half the club we are tbh ...

... the club is named after a drainage ditch that goes into the Humber.

Your support tonight was pitiful tbh.
He’s not wrong sadly though they were also ****e. But that clinical strike would have knocked a fan out if it hadn’t jammed it’s way in.

Mate, that's absolutely ludicrous. You're welcome to think that, and if it gives you some comfort and identity, keep thinking it...but the idea that being working class and involved in industry is the exclusive property of those with northern accents is absurd.

I work in child protection and I can assure you there is plenty of deprivation in southern england and also a load of salt of the earth working class types too.

It's still different. There are working class factory workers in Moscow, it's not just being working class that's simply an element. It's the North, being from here, the places the people the history, being raised drenched in it, breathing it in daily.

I agree with you and I'm usually one of the bunch who can be relied on to be positive no matter what but watching that tonight was grim.

and that was after the manager said he’s not fit enough and will probably go out on loan! Then he sticks him on too late and swaps him for the striker we had on like for like.

Yes. You're using exceptions.
Still doesn't mean that there aren't people who don't have NE accents who feel a strong connection to the NE. There are also plenty of people born and raised in the NE who don't have local accents. To suggest that people need to have a shared accent in order to feel a connection to one another suggests a lack of real world experience.
