He’s came in and performed remarkably worse with the same tools, he’s managed to make us significantly worse as well mind
I feel the same mate just feel we have taken steps backwards this season. I felt like that before the beale appt as the performances this season haven't been good enough
We'll be reet mate. I think this appointment was another error in a long line or errors, in fairness to the ownership they have got more right that the people before them. I think we'll miss sthe playoffs now and probably finish in the 9-15th range.
My thoughts.... 1. Far too soon to be sacking the head coach 2. Jobe is picked because of who he is, rather than his ability 3. Too many players playing out of position 4. Getting the ball to Jack has become far too predictable 5. Set pieces are gash 6. No supply to whoever plays No 9 7. Build up play is far to slow. 8. Our midfielders are caught in possession much to often. Apart from that, everything is tickety boo!
I wasn’t expecting playoffs but I was expecting a playing style we enjoy watching. Not this dull ****e. Genuinely think it’s been caused by this desire to play out from back rather than get the ball up the pitch quickly
Fair play to you mate for keeping your chin up, I can't do it today. He does need and deserve time like any new manager but I'm wondering what he's going to do with it. Flat as a fart today at home against a mediocre team ravaged by injury. Crap subs and game management.
What are the things you feel kinship about when someone has a northern accent, out of interest? Specifically.
I know you are all a bit down at least you got to witness Carvalho score a cracking goal so not as if you never got your moneys worth.
Usually that they're working class and have heritage based in industry like our town or the towns nearby, our much maligned broad flat vowels that southerners sometimes struggle to understand or think of as quaint. The beauty of our Dales and Coastline which belong to us and make us feel at home.
Same, i wanted progress and when i say progress I don't mean finishing higher than last season. Its continuing to sign quality players, developing a playing style that's obvious to see and to see some our exciting young players kick on Not really seeing any of that Id say clarke neil ballard n huggins (when fit) have kicked on
Said after Hull away ‘we won’t go up this season’ and a few questioned why I said that after a win. I said it because in that game you could see we had no sparkle at all, the fans dragged the team along. Tonight was ****ing woeful, only positive for me was Hemir did look a lot closer to being a championship footballer than previously. ****ing tiny positive mind
Me the soft twat? Throwing words like '******' around as an insult makes someone a soft twat in my book.
He was “Tidy” today. Didn’t give the ball away much if at all. Of course that’s easy passing it sideways and backwards.
If I try to be really fair I think a lot of tonight’s problems existed with this season Mowbray, slow passing, possession without threat etc . My difference is his indecision. He should have moved to take the game and waited until they’d taken it. For the second week running.
Does that say all you need to know. Mogga is a respected champ mgr but there is a lot of rewriting history about him. Last season was great as we had Amad, Roberts and Clarke firing on all cylinders. The performances this season were generally pretty poor and flat. It's the same under Beale but it's being magnified because he's hated for some reason. He's barely had a month to work with the players and has a load of injuries, no left backs, no strikers still. What I'm saying is that the squad is lacking and I think folk are mad if they think another manager would have come in and we'd be winning playing loads of amazing football. It takes time, it takes players. I just feel People are being incredibly unfair on Beale
Hull will never be half the club we are tbh ... ... the club is named after a drainage ditch that goes into the Humber. Your support tonight was pitiful tbh.
For me it's a lack of energy and an abandonment/inability to play neat one touch football which we had so much success from before. Nowadays we do it once or twice a game, at our best under Mowbray we were doing it all game or at least attempting to. I don't know if it's a confidence issue or if it's not something we focus on in training these days. We've got the talent for it but we've shifted to a slow, methodical style which doesn't suit our squad.
