Hull is an absolutely huge game, arguably the biggest game of the season so far. People can say it won't happen but I fear for Beale if we get beat. I have never seen negativity like this around a manager/coach before and that includes Parkinson. Desperate for 3 points.
Even Di Canio made it to 13 games

What’s that got to do with it? We’re favourites next Friday and rightly so but my point was Hull will fancy their chances - of course they will, we’ve been poor of late.

They've just lost 3-1 at Sheff Wed who'll probably go down.

We won there a few weeks back.

The've lost 4 of the last 5 games.

Apart from that they've every reason to fancy their chances against a team above them away from home.

Ridiculous, isn't it?

First time we've ever been in this situation as supporters imho. Or first time in a very long time anyway. The previous manager wasn't sacked acrimoniously with most of the fanbase celebrating his demise. He went largely with our best wishes and thanks.
When you change managers like this the new man absolutely has to prove really early on that he's an upgrade or questions are bound to arise.

If a manager doesn’t get off to a great start with his first 5 games then he hasn’t proved he’s an upgrade and questions need to be asked of him?

Nope. Still sounds ridiculous.

He has proved he's an upgrade as far as I can see. He's happy to work as the Head Coach, whereas Tony apparently wasn't (= upgrade). He secured more points in his first few games than Mowbray got in his last few (= upgrade). But he's still got the same players to work with, with the same problems, and the same gaps in the squad. If we're all agreeing that Mowbray was a good coach, what are we expecting Beale to do? I just don't understand the negativity. People are so desperate to paint him as useless that they're quoting irrelevant stats. All that matters is points on the board.

Really? You quite clearly haven’t been watching us then.

The football hasn't been quite as easy on the eye as it was previously. Was going downhill under Mowbray.
Still don't understand the negativity. But maybe that's because I'm not petty and petulant <ok>

That is the most clueless, insane post I've seen for as long as I can remember.

Beale has no record of success, Dodds and proctor are youth level coaches and speakman hasnt signed a decent centre forward in 2 years. Add in the commercial fiasco and if you can't see the club needs a serious restructure quickly you are blind imo.
