I'm sure they do. But then it's been the same for previous managers by some fans.

He's here now and will probably get to the end of the season at least.
And he should as it would be crazy to just sack him after a handful of games.

I don’t think they will give one jot what the fans think, they know they are right so I’m afraid the fans who don’t like it, can like it, lump it or clear off.

I'm sure the club already know the fan's concerns and, in my opinion, share them. I'm also sure they care even though they're not putting out daily statements on every issue.

Of course they want to sell tickets, merchandising and food&drink on the concourse. It's disingenuous to claim the owner is in it for the money while, at the same time, claiming they're not interested in making money.

Why wouldn't they want to keep the fans onside when they're one of our biggest assets.

The club was a jigsaw knocked off the table by two clumsy inept idiots who filled in the corners but little else ...

... the pieces have all been picked up but the picture isn't clear yet.

This is the only owner/manager/coach we have so I'll support it and hope they get it right. Anything else is just cutting my nose off etc ...

Great metaphor if that's the correct word and sums up exactly what has gone on the last few years and made me smile.

I like the jigsaw knocked off the table metaphor and the pieces may have been picked up, but I'd expect them to have started on the border by now, but I don't see any signs of that as they are even attempting to make improvements. Let's see if there is a plan come Jan 18th.

I would contend that improvements have been made.
The facilities and coaching at the AoL have been improved.
Hospitality facilities at the SoL have been improved
The quality and potential of the players at the club have been improved
    Is everything perfect? No
Can more improvements be made? Yes

There is still a long way to go and a lot to do but at least we are going in the right direction.
Better to go at 30mph in the right direction rather than 100mph in completely the wrong direction.

You should have included that they have done a magnificent job in missing off the vast majority of the fan base and that was achieved at a 100 mph

We'll have to disagree mate, I think the club has been totally transformed.

Still loads to do but we're now a club players want to come to with PL clubs checking on half of our players.

Those two things never even happened when we were in the PL tbh.

Some people keep saying that as if there was a poll and it's a fact ...

... even if it was true that was a fortnight back and not everyone carries grudges around with them for ever.

Most people I know are more interested in Friday night tbh.

Don't think that would count as an improvement to be honest

I don’t disagree with the improvements being made on the pitch but off the pitch (which I should’ve been clearer on) we’re woeful.

    Take your point.
Think we can do better in a lot of things but it's a case of priorities.
Hopefully we will see progress shortly, well in the next couple of years anyway

I remember you saying that, which was reasonable back then, but not a popular opinion. People were saying it was 'totally clear' that Beale would fail and we'd go backwards rapidly, etc etc etc, fair enough. At the same time it was also apparently 'totally clear' that we wouldn't play a striker, Jobe was undroppable, young players wouldn't get a chance, the players weren't playing for Beale, etc. That's all being ignored now and woe betide if you dare to remind anyone what they said, no matter how happy they were to say it at the time or how many times it was repeated.

There's now a subtle change, on social media, from declaring we didn't need more time to know Beale was a failure ...

... to saying we do need more time, to judge him, and people praising him are jumping the gun <laugh>
