To be fair, Klopp wanting guaranteed playing time scuppered a few more potential loans. We do not have the depth of squad others do and we’re better placed to offer Klopp what he was demanding.

That and he's continuing partnerships with Morton and Seri who he's played with already so should hit the ground running - and the hookup with Morton especially benefits Liverpool long term.

Well some media outlets are suggesting that he was given the choice between ourselves and Southampton.

I agree. My player of the season so far as well, he'll take some replacing. The only good thing is it comes at a time when the club can do something about it and bring in cover if they choose to do so. Any under 21 international will do for now.
