I don't see much moral difference if any between the Saudis owning Newcastle and them hoying vast sums at players to go and play over there. It's all taking the Saudi dollar for the purpose of sportswashing.

You can say who could blame him for getting rich off them, by that logic who can blame the mags for wanting money pumped into their club regardless of where it comes from. You only get one football career/life as a football fan.

Maybe people who see no problem with Henderson have no problem with Newcastle either, I don't know.

Not going to lie mate, I think he’s a prick and I wouldn’t want him back. I’ll also add tbh, I’m blinkered on this issue. My daughter is gay and we looked up to him for the support he showed that community and then it felt like a bit of a stab in the back from him.

    That’s my view on it.

Fair enough mate, i do see where your coming from and maybes should have done abit more research before commenting.
However ill always feel proud he came from our academy and has won every trophy going. He also comes to matches still and hasnt forgotten his roots.

If i got offered 700k a week to play against pub teams id do it.

If I was a millionaire many times over and was offered £350k tax free per week by someone who's values were in direct contradiction to my own I would tell them to shove it up their arse.

Nah mate, just comment as you see fit. It’s a forum we are here to share our own views and experiences. I’m not over sensitive on the issue, I was just chipping in with my take on it.

He's a cracking player that has earned massive money playing at the top level. Fair do's to him.
Being one of our own doesn't excuse him of criticism though.

Because he shouldn't even be in the squad when we have players like Ward Prowse sat at home. Thats what i thought anyway because Southgate is an absolute sh#tshow of a manager

People speak like he was a minimum wage factory worker who was offered a chance to escape the slums.

He was offered the chance to add to the multi millions he will never be able to spend.

Greed is all it was and I've absolutely no interest in the man.

I'd rather he go anywhere but here.

Why its his life he can do what he wants?

Hes a local lad, we should be proud what he does or has done now has nothing to do with us.

He can do whatever he wants. The rest of us can judge him accordingly.

He put money above ethics when he had more money than he could ever need.

That's just not my sort of person and that kind of greed is a big part of all the ugliness in the world today.

I couldn't be much less proud of him.

Watched Jordan since he was 8 years old and played with my son for a couple of years at the academy, have followed his career and always enjoyed his football and how he conducted himself off the pitch, and to be honest never thought he would be one of the big name players to play for the murderous state, he really disappointed me and my two sons with his decision
    Forget and move on

His agent has ‘offered him to Bayern and Leverkusen’

I wouldn’t hold your breath on that mate, that’s akin to me sliding into Michelle Keegans DMs

I mean Bayern are after Dier....so Henderson isn't out of the realms of possibility
