Why it will do our squad more good than theirs?
Don't see how it does anything for them than take some pressure off Howe for a bit.
Felt the same after the game, it was disappointing seeing us get beat as it always is (especially when you concede a few) but little to none of that was because it was a 'local derby'.
I wouldn't go as far as to wish the bastards well and never will but they are pretty much entirely dead to me now.

Because it will show our younger players the level they need to get to in order to compete at the highest level of the game in this Country against players who have been playing in Europe's most elite club tournament this season.
I started getting texts from extended family who are mags after it went 0-2. Gave em what for and called them out on the family group text about being owned by murderers. (Yeah dead hard me like )
Told me everything I needed to know about them and our team today.
1. they knew we were capable of getting back into it, and were spineless and said nowt until they felt safe. Just like their quiet fans in the north stand.
2. Family members shut up quickly when their ownership was brought up. Had no response when I said my conscience was clear, what about yours?

Btw who would have thought O'Nien was one of the few players for us who looked at home against a good premier league team.

Thought I had bumped into you today Nig. I had a long chat with a bloke who travels to the games from mid-Wales, he's been to 8 home games this season and numerous away. Incredible supporter when you think about the distance he covers

Hes so boring, always quick to slag our players. Neil up against one of the best midfields in the country n he comes on and slags the lad - neil wasnt at his best today but feel he has to carry the side so often as ekwah n jobe are so inconsistent. Hopefully get a good cdm in jan.
The occasion was just too big for our lads today. They are a quality side when they are on it, they play at such a high tempo n havr so much physicality. It was always going to be hard if they were close to their best. The facts are theyve spent over 400 million on that team

I thought it was good tbh. Is he suggesting it was 17k just for the East stand? It wasn't just that, it was something in all of the seats apart from the mag end. All of the PC and corporate had something to hold up.
