Not sure if already posted but Brereton-Diaz is going to Sheff Utd on loan so likely ends any interest in Clarke. Seen a few reports linking Charlie Cresswell (again). Any truth?
Id def take cresswell, got really good upside and got the experience of the league to hit the ground running
Sorry Bob it's the owldtimers disease setting in, I couldn't remember if I had read it or someone told me at the match. In my defence I normally ignore most of what I read on here
Would improve our ability at corners at both ends of the pitch too, him and Ballard would have potential to be an absolute brick wall pairing
I bet living out there was brilliant. Real home of football for me Brazil. I love their approach to football more than any other.
Tbf we are fine from attacking set pieces, 2nd best in the league but def agree about defensively- very strong n aggressive in the air Always been a big fan of him since he was 16 n saw him for their u18 side
It was a canny experience. Highlights were watching Vasco beat Man U 3-1 at the Maracana Vasco beating Flamengo 5-1 at the Maracana Going to watch the old enemy Flamengo play Gremio to see a 17 yr old Ronaldinho before his move to PSG.
You have lived mate. Ronaldinho was off the scale in terms of natural talent. Saw him once up close, dear oh dear, beyond anything I could have imagined.
I think he’s going to be ballards replacement long term, but a potential back 3 of Seelt Ballard and cresswell though, immense, I’m just getting carried away now we’ve never been so spoilt for choice for talent
Defensive midfielder and I presume he will know Beale well. However he doesn't seem to have had a great loan at Bristol Rovers so a bit concerned if he can step up, obviously could be numerous reasons that loan didn't work
Been linked to 2 from villas under 23s now not sure if just easy links? We buy young/beagles been there
I agree, easy link. Does make sense to go after players familiar with Beale in January though means less bedding in
