Liverpool supporters will take to Neil if he got a move there, it would be Henderson mk11 imho, and we do have rigg ready and waiting. I wouldn’t begrudge any of them a good premier league career and I think 4 or 5 could make it. Let’s hope we’re attractive enough for the base to stay til after the playoffs then who knows where we’ll be.
Curtis Jones and Elliot have been playing first team football for years aswell mate. Elliott was playing for Blackburn and Fulham before Neil was even in our first team.
Sensible if he has. I'd do the same. If we go up then he will stay if we don't then he will leave which is fair crack.
Maybe a bit tongue in cheek but if we want £20m+ for Clarke I’d be holding out for something similar if I was them. Younger player having a great season they can’t let him go on the cheap surely.
Depends on the owners, some are more desperate for cash than others (cue raking over some old coals).
Not sure hes the answer, more of a false 9 than an out n out striker. Technically good but lacks that attacking threat. I know theres talks of him going back to holland
Ninety nine per cent of reports come to nothing so I take everything reported with a huge pinch of salt. Also the figures being bandied about for our players are just plucked from thin air. We managed to get £10 million for a player coming back from a bad injury with just a year left on his contract so why anyone would think we’ll let anyone go on relatively cheaply is beyond me.
Beale suggesting Cirkin may be out for a while. Wouldn't mind another left back coming in considering Alese is just coming back, Huggins is out long term, Cirkin is out for the foreseeable and is pretty unreliable and then that means we can keep Hume at right back because Pembele needs time also.
All this Neil talk. The lad doesn't want to leave his boyhood club. Assume the player has to want to leave?
