I know and that’s why it’s not just about the manager. But form is what it is.

People can say injuries this gambling that. Bad luck also and bad decisions but ultimately it’s a results industry that’s what managers are paid to do.

If you’re saying City, I wouldn’t disagree. It’s always hard to be exact but that is my point in relative terms City spent way more than we have or can. And it still took City 4 years from takeover to win a trophy.

None of us wished for Steve Bruce but he did OK for 2 seasons. Newcastle need to move away from successful championship / bottom end Premier league standard managers and coaches.

Potter is just another Howe so no point.. if it's a replacement even mourinho would do but not just another also ran manager.

Urgh, FFS enough of the "Steve Bruce did Ok" ****e, the guy was the epitome of an Ashley stooge, it was embarrassing that we got him in the first place, we were crap with him, he was getting us relegated when he was sacked and we were all overjoyed when he left.

Potter is NOTHING like Howe, Howe is took a tiny club from the bottom tier to the Premier League in 5 years, established them there, then came to us and saved us from almost certain relegation, and then got us into the Champions League in his first full season.

Mourinho is an utter embarrassment and exactly the kind of manager the owners want to avoid. They want a manager who is going to be a success and who they can work with, not an cringey whining bitch who falls out with every club he goes to and gets sacked with the fans overjoyed he's gone.

De Zerbi looked a hot property last season but there's been a few cracks appearing this season, needs to establish himself fully to earn a decent reputation.

Howe got relegated I don't think Potter has been. Howes the same level of manager.

Mourinho is an elite manager he'd be ideal for the next phase. Wins something called trophies.

he's played 26 different 11s this season and despite injuries is poised to push the European spots again.

Your incessant chanting of "Howe got relegated" is ridiculous given that Howe is widely regarded as the best manager of all time of that club he got relegated, and his achievements there are universally regarded as incredible. Seriously, try to badmouth Howe to a Bournemouth fan.

Bruce was a useless clown who got the job of his dreams cos no one else wanted to work with Ashley. We were crap under him and going nowhere, plus he was leading us on a kamikaze mission for relegation by the time he got booted out.

Mourinho is not elite anymore, that's why he's at Roma these days. He left Chelsea under a huge cloud after the psyhio debarcle, he massively underachieved at Man U, and did nothing at Spurs. Guy is a total has-been.

Yeah Mourinho is at roma one of the biggest clubs ever. He's won things in various countries and certainly is not on Bournemouths list of greats <laugh>

What? Before the Spurs game they'd won one of the last 5 league games, which included drawing at home to Burnley, being beaten by a ****e Chelsea team and drawing to Palace. And before that they couldn't beat Sheffield United at home.

Does your research ever extend beyond the last game?

If you are talking about Roma as one of the biggest clubs ever, you are talking utter horseshit. The last time they even won the league is Italy was over 20 years ago, and the time before that was another 20 years previous to that. Even in terms of Italy they are not a big team.

The fact Mourinho is at Roma these days reflects his status as a manger. He has been there 2 years and finished 6th with them both seasons. It ain't the stuff of dreams.

So unlike Newcastle they have 2 wins in 6 and that's with an injury crisis. They play excellent football and have done for years.

Why do you somehow ignore Newcastles record and then use other clubs as a yard stick .. because you wear black and white tinted glasses that's why.
