I finally blew tonight watching the father of Owen Carey, the lad who died from eating 'dairy' at a fast food joint, laying the blame.
"Owen Carey, who had a dairy allergy, was celebrating his 18th birthday in London when he collapsed in April 2017."

I kept my mouth shut when the girl died on a flight to Nice after eating a sandwich, with sesame seeds, she'd bought from an airport shop.
They're always shoving sesame seeds on ffs, everyone knows that, like the gherkins they bung in burgers that no one wants..
"A father whose 15-year-old daughter with severe food allergies died after eating a baguette from Pret a Manger has told an inquest that the food chain is to blame for its failure to list allergens."

Instead of blaming food companies for having ingredients in their food why not take responsibility and avoid cheap options if they may kill you. We all know food and drink contain a multitude of ingredients so surely it's up to us to take care. Many wines contain animal byproducts but vegans happily guzzle it down because it suits them as just one example of the hypocrisy.
If the girl was so much at risk why not take control, do what I do and make some sarnies for the journey. If I go out for a meal, with Mrs Smug, she'll order something that couldn't possibly contain gluten, to which she has a serious allergy. It's too easy to always blame suppliers imo, I can't abide cucumber so I make sure my salads and sandwiches don't have any.
I sympathise with people's loss but, ffs, if you're so much at risk don't expect to have a nanny on your shoulder watching out for you.
