Re the lb position and I see the board is in full flow tonight.
Rosie wanted to operate with a smaller squad, so I assume possibly 2 players for every position roughly.
Why did we sign a lb with a dodgy injury record and sign a number 2 who even after 6 months isn’t ready.
Why did Rosie virtually force Fleming out the door in favour of someone who isn’t ready.
How is Matty Jacobs ready in terms of making the bench but furlong isn’t.
In fact what does “not ready” even mean, he’s a 21 year old pro footballer, how can you not be ready. What’s he been doing for the last 6 months and beyond

Honestly I think he thought he could deputise Greaves or Coyle out there and only go with 1 out and out LB. At least until January.

I think we will see four in, plus Sharp makes five.

    New CM
    Winger
    Left back
First choice keeper (I think Allsop’s going to be out for a long while.)

Doc, Sinik and Ally to leave which will balance up the books a bit.

If Alsopp is out for any length of time then we definitely need a keeper. At least on loan to get us to summer.

Lo Tutala isn't an option who fills me with confidence.

So you're now questioning my integrity and basically accusing me of being influenced in my opinions by someone paying me a wage..... Just want to make sure I'm clear on what you're saying

I think the problem with Furlong isn’t his ability, it’s that he was portrayed as a proper first team signing. I don’t think he was, but I think he was brought in as an U21s player like TS Fleming was. Because we paid money for him, it made it look like he would be around the first team and nobody at the time seemed to clarify it. It seemed odd that we would sign a Brighton reserve player who has played 16 men’s football matches in four years for an ambitious, play off hunting side.

I don't know what it is frankly. I just know you're a lot harder on this current coach than ever before in my time ever posting on here, so I'm assuming it's something more.

    Professional or personal.

    You tell me.

Tim LT came back from Stevenage in great shape, he’s developing okay and the staff still rate him, but yeah it’s asking a lot for him to step up, especially with the system we are playing.

If I was a betting man, I’d expect a loan from abroad.

He was described at the time he came in as a development signing. And that's what he still is.

Yeah, he was, but I think the fact that Vinagre was the only recognised left back and we questioned Fleming going, then this guy turned up, I think some wires got crossed.

Fleming was hastily given a contract, but he's not exactly ripping it up at a lower level and still hasn't played much football for someone of his age.

    I don't think we'll see him again.

And I also think we felt we had cover in Greaves and Coyle to get us to January, as stated before.

Why didn’t we keep Fleming, furlongs 21 now, he isn’t 16.
Matty Jacob has played less “men’s” games but he makes the bench.
We signed Simmons permanently and he’s not ready, he could have stayed at Chelsea and gone out on loan to l1

He missed pre season 5 months ago, what’s he been doing since. We seem to use this a few times this season. In future if you miss pre season, you mayaswell just write the season off. Stay at home **** yourself to death and get paid :)

Maybe that’s because we’ve actually had money to spend for the first time in a while? Before we were signing players like Tom Eaves on a free scraping the barrel. I’m pretty sure if we had a more experienced manager (and no McCann wasn’t an experienced championship manager and the Allams weren’t spending anything) we would’ve signed players just of good if not better. Can’t really count last season as Acun was just buying players he fancied by the sounds of it, Rosenior has got his supposed first choice players in this season and some of them just aren’t good enough which he just won’t drop. When we got Bruce in we could sign players that wouldn’t normally come to us because he was very well respected in the game.

Yeah like Meyler, Elmo and Alex Bruce! Aluko another I'm pretty sure he had a connection with.

Just like Rosenior has done to get Connolly.
