I guess the Bullard saga is evidence of that, but one would have thought if you are paying a 1 million loan fee, and his wages you would make sure.

Wenger did an interview once talking about Overmars with medicals. Said they discovered his knees would basically give out after 3 or 4 years. Signed him anyway and then sold him before they gave out.

His contract doesn't end at LA until 1/1/24 even though the seasons over and they're not re-signing him. They can't register him to play for us until after that date.

He's training with us now, but obviously the 1st jan is a bank holiday, so he can't get registered in time for Sheff Wed.

We couldn’t sign him anyway, you can only sign a free agent during a season, it he was a free agent at the time the last window was open.

I am beginning to suffer from dementia, I think, what did I just say there? Anyway, could someone remind me of the player that we have playing somewhere in Latin America? What is his name again and why ain't he here by now? Any while I am still in a state of "awakedness" what ever happened to the Furlong guy? Did he go back playing rugby or something?
 
City make some bizarre January transfers. Jordan Flores and resigning Max Clark in League 1 under McCann were two head-scratchers as well.
