Fanzines know absolutely bot all about professional coaching. Wouldn't waste my time.
I listened to one for the first time in ages this week. Really awful insight. Honestly think we are blessed on here as we have such a smart bunch and plenty of real insight. We could produce our own podcast and blow these lot out of the water, but much more fun having our own little village.

still was first choice and i believe it was all very close to be being done even to the point of compensation agreed , but the club wouldn't budge on the back room staff , Kjetil Knutsen was also someone else we were in talks with, but same problem, once beales time with that being moving to a different after doing well or being sacked, dodds will be are next gaffer

Helena Bonham Carter would be my first choice but, if she wanted to dictate positions and substitutions I'd move on to someone further down the list ...

... I'd settle for Anne Widdecombe if she was the only one who'd play the game my way <laugh>

The options when looking for a Sunderland podcast are so poor. WMS by far the worst though, offer absolutely nothing apart from constant negativity.

I think prehab said something earlier about TM picked the team but maybe had some pressure put on him to give game time to certain players. I might have got that completely wrong.
That's deffo not true mate, I've known TM since he was 20 and still speak to him, even in the last few days so trust me on that, Them 3 worked the team out, if your reffering to the Burstow thingy different story.
Not for on here that, some already know, but I don't know the FULL story. Leave it at that.

Ok mate. Just things that get said. I don't know anything about the lad from Chelsea. All I would think going forward, yes it's nice to loan these kids from other teams, but a bit experience up top going forward would be my wish going forward

Well I'm certainly not ignorent marra.

And like I said, I'm not setting out to purposely offend.

I'm deffo not going to apologise for wanting to hear the Queen's/King's English spoken correctly, nomatter what accent a person speaks in.

As infants, we were all expected to learn phonetics to the correct standard whilst learning the English alphabet....every British child did.

Then when we grow older, we all have the choice to pronounce words the way we want.

Cockney rhyming slang is amazing, and humerous. However, it was always delivered correctly eg - Up the apple and pairs (Stairs) - Hampstead Heath (Teeth) ...but now folk say,- Up ver apples and pairs, and - Hampstead Heef (Teeff).....Why though?....there's no need at all.

In short, there is right way, and there is a wrong way.....there's no arguing with that mate.

Sorry if that offends you

No. You are actually wrong. And your nonsense is based on little more than the hangover from old fashioned classism and snobbery.

We speak to communicate. Anything that communicates a message clearly is correct.

Anything beyond that is window dressing.

I really hope you're Henry Higgins to be harping on the way you are. Because if you are anything less than a perfectly spoken professor of linguistics and diction, you sound like a proper obstuse twat.

I had a short chat to someone today who had a slightly different take on it. He said others were in the frame but didnt fit with our needs, whereas Beale did. I took that to mean he wanted to work with our existing coaches and not bring in a cast of thousands. Also took it as Beale was all in our approach. I admit I am glass half full guy. To me Beale is a better coach than Still, and is a much more balanced fit. The fact he is prepared to fit in with Dodds etc is a massive upside. My prediction - Still is about to go downhill, Beale uphill.

You’d defend the club no matter what, so there’s no debate to be had here.

Let’s see how Beale goes…

That's absolute bollocks, I've criticised the club when I believe it's correct. What I don't do is whinge on at every opportunity and never come back on to say I way wrong.

Don't treat me like I'm a gullible rose tinted twat ...

... you know f**k all tbh.

We have no option but to see how Beale goes, no permission needed from people like you.

You're argumentative sometimes mate.
He never said otherwise. He didn't say we should keep them. Just that they make them then move them on lol.

And you're not <laugh>

He said 'other people take them' as if someone has taken advantage ...

... that's not the case, we made something and sold it for profit.

People from Newcastle coined the phrase Mackem as an insult just as most names are, Scouser for example, or Geordie.

**** off you thick cnut !!!

I listened for about half a minute (ferty seconds, to him) before I had to stop, and I'll never listen to him again 'cos of his laziness . . . . yet 12 seconds in he said something properly (there's), proving that he can but chooses not to, so it's got absolutely now't to do with accents/regionalisation :emoticon-0112-wonde

I'm going to do what I wished I'd did with Lee Johnson. Ignore all interviews, until he's got a few wins and built up a bit of credit. Then I might be able to take the jargon and strange mangled speech.

Bollocks mate. You are talking ****e. I never said anything of the sort. If you read something into it, that is on you not me. I posted what I was taught as a bairn about our heritage. The last thing you are entitled to do is twist that. I have my heritage and you are nobody to tell me what I mean.
