LUFC did us a favour @ Watford the day of our 2-2 draw with Cardiff did they not?Which also did for L**ds.
They did but "LUFC" are still a set of ****sLUFC did us a favour @ Watford the day of our 2-2 draw with Cardiff did they not?

So Leeds did us a favour by not allowing Watford to beat them n'est ce pas?Biggest favour they did us was letting us take 6 points off them.
Watford had to win so Leeds winning made no difference in the end. If it had stayed 1-1we would have still gone up.

Cardiff played to win,Watford played to win, Leeds played to win. It favoured us.No, Watford needed to win, they let themselves down by not beating a team with nothing to play for. Leeds never gave doing us a favour a thought. And even if they had they would still be TWS and I would give them no credit.
Vinagre done his hamstring again……
Have good memories about games vs cardiff. 12 Nov 1977 (oh dear!), my birthday. Lost my wallet on way through the turnstiles so had do rush back to see if anyone had handed it in. They had, so took my seat about 10 mins after kickoff by which time we were 2-1 up (Sammy stewart scored one of them). Sammy was a friend of the family back then & he scored again later in a 4-1 win.
Was at the game at ninian park in april 07. Was it Deano who scored to make it 1-0? I remember being sat in the car park listening to the chaos at elland road to see if they would restart, to see if we would survive, and we did of course.
I then ‘won’ my own 3 points for speeding on the heads of the valleys road on the way back home. Bugger!
There again for the 2-2 that saw us back in the PL for the second time.
Cant be there tomorrow but hoping for a great game & 3 points for the boys,
UTT.

It’s odd because Liam was keen to only consider those who were sufficiently robust in the last window, I wonder if he thought he was worth the risk or if he sees him as a longer term project? Whichever, it has left him very short at left back. We had someone lined up too who impressed as a trialist (can’t remember his name ..was it Cox) too, so it was clearly planned to just go with Vinaigre and Greaves to cover (which then leaves us short for cover at centre back).Vinagre really is not robust enough for the English game, it's a pity as he clearly has pace and skill, but like Sinik and Allahyar just too fragile.
