We got a hell of a deal from Sporting so he was worth the (little) risk. The issue is that we didn't bring in a competent back up (Like Cox) for when Vinagre was inevitably injured. Rosie obviously thought Greaves/Coyle can go there instead. He knew from the off that Furlong was a signing for the future, not now.
We played awful against Middlesbrough, awful against QPR. But having managed to get the win last time out, I think it will give us confidence to attack more. Hull City 3 Cardiff City 1
I gotta admit I thought it a little strange we didn't take Cox on, given how lightweight we were at left back. Out of interest did he get sorted with a contract elsewhere ?
Do you know this for a fact Ern...?.... and if we're losing at half time, do I shovel it all on for a win at full time..
I'm not sure if he was injured earlier in the season, but those appearances have all been recent and he's in their starting XI.
Elder wasn’t good enough, he can’t even get in the Derby team in League One. If we made a mistake, it was not signing Cox, it definitely wasn’t letting Elder leave.
