Record against Celtic was P6 W:1 D:1 L:4, the win was a meaningless game after the title was decided and Celtic played a weak team, the losses also include two cup semi final defeats.

The low block thing comes from what their fans say, they really struggled first game of the season at Kilmarnock where they lost 1-0. I also know they were booed off after winning 1-0 against Motherwell because of the poor performance. Football up there is so different to down here, you aren't just expected to win you are expected to dominate everyone, play well, beat Celtic and win trophies. His QPR side were also much better when teams didn't sit deep, 1-1 at home to Rotherham, 0-0 at home to Stoke and 1-2 at home to Huddersfield were all games they had a lot of possession but did little with it just looking at stats.

TBF QPR are shyte.

I speak fluent French having lived and worked there and had a glamourous Portuguese girlfriend ... Maria De Lourdes Lima Machado.

I can happily converse in Italian, Spanish, etc as the building blocks are all similar.

I doubt Tony was at ease outside of the North and could barely understand supporters in the Black Country.

I've absolutely no idea why I've posted all that, I fancied a good drink so I've had one <party>

Have you just admitted that you're James Bond,Mr Smug,??

Smug, you've answered a few questions for me! Ta very much!
KLD wasn't happy with Tony saying there was a problem with players not speaking English. So.... I was expecting a young, multilingual coach. But, is Michael Beale multilingual? Or does he speak 'pigeon Portuguese'? Cause that doesn't cut it for me.
So what did the 'club' want? Mowbray speaking 4 languages or a new, young 'yes' man who can say 'good morning' & 'good bye' in 4 languages?
The squad is very exciting & I'm hopeful for some good times, but I'd love KLD & Speakman to give us a bit more reasoning for big decisions.

Maybe he wanted someone more willing to work with players who don't speak English and not make such a big deal out of it. I liked Mowbray a lot but he did fuss about that and I never thought his general comments on our forwards were helpful to anyone.

Just wanna put it out there I’m Will Stills biggest advocate. But he’s also done NOTHING in football as of yet.

We are a championship club so if you’re expecting young managers who’ve won titles with bigger clubs than us you’re pissing in the wind.

Keep seeing people say Beale didn’t do anything at QPR, but tell that to Wolves and Rangers, who both saw enough in those games to offer him the job.

And I also see people saying he only gets jobs because he interviews well. But again, tell that to Rangers. They’ve hired him twice. They offered him the manager job, having already employed him as a coach. They knew what they were getting.

Im disappointed in the choice, not going to lie. But having got over my initial dismay, I think some of the vitriol towards it is a bit OTT

Nacho, I'm right with ya on that. But I'd love a bit more from KLD & KS on it. Surely it would smooth the transition a bit. They must know that the supporters are 'nervous' about the appointment to say the least.
I'm being too normal aren't I.

To put things in a clearer perspective, the Club and its owners have kicked the supporters not once but twice today in the balls. When March comes around Kyril, I'll vote whether you chose the right course.

Tbf the club have made an impressive Guinness Book of Records attempt for most kicks in the bollocks for one day:

Underwhelming choice of head coach after teasing all kinds of exotic foreigners

6000 ticket allocation to Newcastle fans

Censoring our flags for the aforementioned Newcastle game

i have no idea why you replied to me,,, i have no problem with the allocation, just the way they have decided to allocate the seats.... err...?!?

the allocation will be based on the police working out the best entry and exit points in the ground, as well as segregation within it.

And then the allocation of where home fans sit and when north stand people get to buy seats seems the most logical approach without having to move other season ticket holders
