'Fly me to the moon' will no longer contribute to this thread because of deliberately trying to cause trouble/disruption and using personal names for the sole purpose of goading.

He's privately gone further, so he's gone further :emoticon-0148-yes:

I have a feeling it'll be Anthony barry, no knowledge at all just talked myself into it being him as he ticks a lot of boxes

Really good coach whose worked at a couple of big clubs

I've said multiple times that KLD and Speakman have earned my trust to appoint whoever they see as the best person for the role, but from my perspective I just don't see how Beale fits.

His QPR team got some good results but if you look into the stats they were very fortunate to win some of the games they did, and fortunate to draw some of the games they did including the 2-2 against us when their keeper scored.

He was then heavily linked with the Wolves job, seemingly turned it down but results started going against them and took the Rangers job during the world cup break on the back of a 5 game winless run with QPR. He also said some things about not leaving to the media while linked to the Wolves job which he then backtracked on when he took the Rangers job.

At Rangers, his record may look decent but it's not good enough for the big two up there. He lost the majority of the big games he had including a poor record against Celtic only winning 1 of 6 games and losing in two Cup Semi Finals.

His Rangers team struggled against low blocks, which is something we struggle with. His teams being slow in possession is one of the biggest issues I can see and that also sounds like something we struggle with.

Will back him of course but I don't see the progression.

What do you lads think of Beale? Am I correct to have major reservations?

He feels like a step down from the other names we've been linked with, that's for sure.

The list of prospective candidates is just dull imo, unless it’s a name that’s not come out yet I suspect most of us will be very underwhelmed.

Not a fan, really struggled at rangers. Had no real style of play n tactically was poor

I work with loads of rangers season ticket holders n none of them were fans. Good coach by all accts but lacks the man management aspect

So underwhelming if it's Beale, would rather just keep Dodds in charge until the summer and go from there.
