I'm sure that is true of every generation, but I've just came out of a shop in Sunderland, its cold, dark, raining and a bit breezy. People scurrying into the shop or in turn into their cars, scrunched over trying to avoid the elements. Now, I'm late 30s, so my teen "heydays" were the mid 90s to early 2000s.... we would be out in the weather "knocking about", doing absolutely nothing but getting soacked, no phones, just doing nothing. Madness really but that was the culture of a none social media generation. Daft thing to talk about or be reminiscent about, but the youth of today won't know the sight of a ringing wet helly handen puffer coat soaked through and you'd put yourself in that position. There was always that one mad mate in shorts all weather's and that one lad on his bike.
