If Everton are successfully sued and go bankrupt it’s very possible you get a similar situation to Rangers in Scotland. The premier league wouldn’t accept them back in and as a new club would need to start again from lower down the pyramid. You can see Chelsea and Man City being bailed out so no risk of administration there and everyone else happy to make an example of Everton.

They could always test the water by going someone smaller, like Newcastle. It’s about time those legally binding assurances were looked at.I'm of the same opinion, I can't see the premier League throwing the book at either Man City or Chelsea - too high profile
I just can’t see the Premier League getting into a position where they realistically have to come down as hard on Man City as Everton.
For this reason alone the Everton points deduction will probably be overturned. Will be changed to a transfer ban and a fine, then spun into “this is a final warning, don’t do it again”. They can then apply the same logic to Man City.

Would like to know how much Burnley have spent in trying to secure they're place in the Premiership, cos however much it was currently it isn't enough.Irrespective of whether or not they've broken any rules they're clearly quite happy to accept being milllions in debt. We're always told about the riches of the PL and the vast sums clubs bring in from merchandising, gates, TV, etc.
The reality is that no matter how much comes in they spend it all then borrow more.
They’ll have enjoyed that late Arsenal winner last night…
You’d imagine it’ll be reduced at least. They’d be sat comfortable in 13th without it.I’m sure they will get the points deduction overturned anyway.

Dyche could become one of the few Everton managers to improve rather than trash their reputation.

"35 point deduction suspended for 12 months"Reducing the points deduction would allow the football authorities to do the same when it eventually comes to charging Man City. Nailed on.
