Think its something they are going to have to address in the window....other than buying Jude Bellingham then I don't know where the solution is.6 goals ... 7 games... since Massive

Funny old game. Wednesday had 59% possession and lost 4-0. Ipswich had 37% possession and won 3-1.
Palace had 66% possession , 13 shots to Everton’s 8 and 9 corners to their 2. But Everton won 3-2. Palace’s xGs were better so that along with all the other stats would have some saying they were the winners. But again, the only stat that matters is BINs.

Not sure what we could really add to the squad that could solve the problem though. We don't have enough numbers in some positions, but I think the players on the pitch are usually more than good enough. Last season we definitely lacked certain types of players on the pitch, this season I don't think so. Maybe you could say a penalty box poacher, but then we have that in Connolly don't we, and he doesn't play because Delap is doing well. Maybe we'll see them play up front together before long.
Nobody has ever said that. Some people definitely misuse or exaggerate the importance of certain stats some of the time, but this boomer thing of pretending that anyone who mentions a statistic actually thinks it's more important than the result is incredibly tiresome.
Keenan Davis would have been a different kind of threat up front, they I'm confident well look to address in Jan. There's room for another cm and LB too.
I suspect he'd have been another option to rotate, rather than a permanent improvement to our starting XI. Delap already runs the channels and holds it up well. Do we need a second player on the pitch doing that sort of job?

Connolly?
Did he touch the ball?
How exactly was he injured?
He’s an enigma, that one.
I'd say we need a 'ballsout' striker in the window in the Davis mould...Not sure who is around to fulfil the wish...Delap is not a lone striker. He's better playing touch line side of a central 9. Sadly, I know Twine puts in a shift and runs around but I've not seen anything in the end product department that would prompt me to say he's in the starting XI every week. Also midfield anchor...With Seri maybe going to AFCON then that will leave a hole for someone to partner Morton....probably Slater, then need back up, maybe.Keenan Davis would have been a different kind of threat up front, I'm confident well look to address that in Jan. There's room for another deep cm and LB too - though Ozan and Adama have done OK there when required - were going to be very thin there when AFCON starts.

A lot of Championship sides will be adversely effected by AFCON.
I was calling for him to come on from start of second half (sacrifice Macca) so as an attacking/overlapping left back to give some more width. With them not putting any pressure on us, it was set up for him, and I couldn’t see the advantage of the first subs and moving Coyle to left back.I thought Vinagre with his pace and directness as you say changed the game also, could he be used more often as a wide left midfield.

Hull manager Liam Rosenior told BBC Radio Humberside:
"Anything other than three points would have been a huge disappointment to us based on what we want to achieve this season and, secondly, on the fact we should have scored more goals.
"It's a recurring thing but the dominance and control we have in games, and the respect teams are starting to give us in this league, says a lot for where we've been and where we're hopefully heading.
"Hopefully that's a massive goal when we look back at it at the end of the season. We created so many good moments and (finishing them) is something we have to get better at, but I'm delighted we have got the three points to take into the international break.
"Fair play to Liam (Delap) because he's been outstanding. Good strikers keep getting chances and he took his goal really, really well."
Huddersfield manager Darren Moore told BBC Radio Leeds:
"We didn't allow Hull to get into the areas they wanted to get into, our shape off the ball was excellent and we limited Hull all afternoon to long-range efforts and minimal chances.
"Playing this way, the possession stats will be in their favour but it's the attempts on goal and clear-cut chances that were nullified.
"On the flip side I thought we used the ball better than we did against Watford, got into some threatening areas on the counter and caused them some problems.
"When you see the goal we conceded - the way the ball has ricocheted and who it's fallen to - it could have gone anywhere but it ended up with them and they've stuck it in the back of the net so it's a bitter one to swallow."
